耶和华啊，亚述诸王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒芜，

所以求你赐仆人善于了解的心，可以判断你的百姓，辨别是非。不然，谁能判断你这么多的百姓呢？”

希西家王十四年，亚述王西拿基立上来攻击犹大的一切坚固的城，将城攻取。

以利沙离开他回去，宰了一对牛，用套牛的器具煮肉给百姓吃，随后就起身跟随以利亚，服事他。
