『現在你們呢、你們心裏說要反抗大衛子孫手下所治的永恆主之國：你們有許多蜂擁軍兵；你們那裏又有耶羅波安為你們所造去當作神的金牛犢。

“现在你们有意抗拒大卫子孙手下所治耶和华的国，你们的人也甚多，你们那里又有耶罗波安为你们所造当作神的金牛犊。

“现在你们说要抗拒大卫子孙手下所治理的耶和华的国，你们的人数众多，你们那里又有耶罗波安为你们所造当作神明的金牛犊。

“现在你们说要抗拒大卫子孙手下所治理的耶和华的国，你们的人数众多，你们那里又有耶罗波安为你们所造当作神明的金牛犊。

“现在你们仗着人多势众，又有耶罗波安制造的金牛犊作为你们的神明，便企图反抗大卫子孙所治理的耶和华的国度。

现在你们有意要反抗大卫子孙手下的耶和华的国；你们人数众多，你们那里也有金牛犊，就是耶罗波安为你们所做，当作神的。

「現在你們有意抗拒大衛子孫手下所治耶和華的國，你們的人也甚多，你們那裏又有耶羅波安為你們所造當作神的金牛犢。

「現在你們說要抗拒大衛子孫手下所治理的耶和華的國，你們的人數眾多，你們那裏又有耶羅波安為你們所造當作神明的金牛犢。

「現在你們仗著人多勢眾，又有耶羅波安製造的金牛犢作為你們的神明，便企圖反抗大衛子孫所治理的耶和華的國度。

現在你們有意要反抗大衛子孫手下的耶和華的國；你們人數眾多，你們那裡也有金牛犢，就是耶羅波安為你們所做，當作神的。

今爾有意敵大衛子孫所治耶和華之國、爾之人數甚多、且有耶羅波安為爾所製金犢、以為神者偕爾、

今爾有眾、奉耶羅破暗所作金犢、尊為上帝、意謂能拒耶和華所賜大闢子孫之國、

今爾曹意謂、能拒主所賜大衛子孫之國、因爾曹之人甚眾、又有金犢偕爾曹、即耶羅波安為爾曹所作以為神者、

“ And now you plan to resist the kingdom of the Lord, which is in the hands of David’s descendants. You are indeed a vast army and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made to be your gods.

“ Now you plan to stand up against the kingdom of the Lord. His kingdom is in the hands of men in David’s family line. It’s true that you have a huge army. You have the statues of the golden calves that Jeroboam made to be your gods.

“ And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord in the hand of the sons of David, because you are a great multitude and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made you for gods.

“ Do you really think you can stand against the kingdom of the Lord that is led by the descendants of David? You may have a vast army, and you have those gold calves that Jeroboam made as your gods.

“ And now you are saying you can assert yourselves against the LORD’s kingdom, which is in the hand of one of David’s sons. You are a vast number and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made for you as gods.

“ So now you intend to assert yourselves against the kingdom of the Lord through the sons of David, being a great multitude and having with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made for you as gods.

And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord, which is in the hand of the sons of David; and you are a great multitude, and with you are the gold calves which Jeroboam made for you as gods.

And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of Jehovah in the hand of the sons of David; and ye are a great multitude, and there are with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods.

“ And now you are saying you can assert yourselves against the Lord’s kingdom, which is in the hand of one of David’s sons. You are a vast number and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made for you as gods.

And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye[ be] a great multitude, and[ there are] with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.

Now you are declaring that you will resist the LORD’s rule through the Davidic dynasty. You have a huge army, and bring with you the gold calves that Jeroboam made for you as gods.

“ Now you intend to withstand the kingdom of Yahweh in the hand of the sons of David. You are a great multitude, and the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods are with you.

耶羅波安王就打定了主意，造了兩隻金牛犢，對眾民說：『以色列人哪，你們上耶路撒冷去已經夠了；看哪，這就是你們的神、那領你們從埃及地上來的。』

耶羅波安卻為邱壇、為野山羊神、為自己所造的牛犢設立了祭司。

有古實人謝拉率領了軍兵一百萬，戰車三百輛，出來攻擊猶大人，直來到瑪利沙。於是亞撒出去迎擊他；彼此就在瑪利沙的洗法谷擺上陣來。亞撒向永恆主他的上帝呼求說：『永恆主啊，在強盛者與軟弱無力者之間，除了你以外是沒有幫助者的。永恆主我們的上帝啊，求你幫助我們；因為我們依靠着你，我們奉你的名去對付這蜂擁軍兵。永恆主啊，你才是我們的上帝；不要讓人有把握勝過你哦。』

永恆主你的上帝是當受祝頌的；他喜愛了你，使你在他的王位上、為永恆主你的上帝做王；因為你的上帝愛了以色列，要使它永遠站立着，所以他立你做王來管理他們、以秉公行義。』

列國為甚麼彼此串通？萬族之民為甚麼謀算不能成功的事呢？地上君王列陣站着，眾人君一同陰謀，要敵擋永恆主，敵擋他所膏立的，說：『我們來掙開他們的捆綁，來脫掉他們的繩索吧。』那坐在天上的必冷笑；永恆主必嗤笑他們。那時他必氣忿忿責備他們，必發烈怒使他們驚惶；傳諭旨說：『我，我已立我的君王於錫安、我的聖山上。』

他的公民素常恨他，便差遣使者跟他後邊去說：「我們不願意這個人做王管理我們。」

我們的上帝啊，你不懲罰他們麼？我們實在沒有力量對抗這來攻打我們的、這許多蜂擁軍兵；我們也不知道該怎樣行；我們的眼單單望着你。』

至於我這些仇敵、不願意我做王管理他們的、你們要帶到這裏來，在我面前給屠殺掉。」』

君王不能因軍兵多而得勝；勇士不能因力氣大而得救援；

『我們來上去攻擊猶大，使它恐怖，攻破它來歸我們，在那中間立他比勒的兒子為王』，因此主永恆主這麼說：這計謀必立不住，也不能實現；

因為有一個孩子給我們生下來，有一個兒子賜給我們；有政權在他肩頭上；他的名稱為「神奇謀士，神威勇士，永恆之父，泰平之君。」他的政權宏大，他的泰平無窮，在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義堅立而支持它，從今時直到永遠。萬軍之永恆主的熱心必成就這事。

說：『永恆主我們列祖的上帝啊，你不是天上的上帝麼？你不是列邦萬國的統治者麼？在你手中有大能大力；沒有人能抵抗你。

你竟作壞事比那在你以先的更壞，去為自己立了別的神和鑄像、來惹我發怒，將我丟在背後。

撒瑪利亞啊，我屏棄了你的牛犢；我向撒瑪利亞人發怒。以色列人到幾時才能無辜免罰呢？那牛犢像是匠人造的，並不是神。撒瑪利亞的牛犢像必定成了碎片。
