經云：『寓我心中之聖神、愛我情深、不容我別有所戀；』爾以此語為虛發乎。

故經云：『人能置信於此、決不失望。』

古經實已逆睹天主之將使普天萬民因信成義、故預報福音於亞伯漢曰：『天下萬民、咸將蒙休於爾懷中。』

經不云乎：『亞伯漢篤信天主、因是而稱義焉。』

經中又載告諭法老之言曰：『吾使爾崛興、用顯吾能於爾身、用彰吾名於普世。』

是天主固未曾棄絕其所預識之子民。抑爾未知經中所載伊理藹向天主控訴義塞之言乎？
