We don’t need to write to you about your love for one another. God himself has taught you to love one another.

言及友誼、無庸我書、因上帝示爾、彼此相友、

至於兄弟相愛、無庸我儕書以示爾、蓋爾已為天主所教、當彼此相愛、

至於兄弟友愛之道、當無需吾之喋喋。爾等親沐天主薰陶、固知彼此相愛。

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

But we don’t need to write to you about the importance of loving each other, for God himself has taught you to love one another.

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Now as to the love of the brothers and sisters, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,

From the beginning we have heard that we should love one another.

Love one another deeply. Honor others more than yourselves.

God has commanded us to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ. He has also commanded us to love one another.

“ I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you.If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples.”

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.

Brothers and sisters, we don’t have to write to you about times and dates.

Here is my command. Love one another, just as I have loved you.No one has greater love than the one who gives their life for their friends.You are my friends if you do what I command.I do not call you slaves anymore. Slaves do not know their master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends. I have told you everything I learned from my Father.You did not choose me. Instead, I chose you. I appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit that will last. I also appointed you so that the Father will give you what you ask for. He will give you whatever you ask for in my name.Here is my command. Love one another.

Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light. There is nothing in them to make them fall into sin.

“ No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me brings them. Then I will raise them up on the last day.It is written in the Prophets,‘ God will teach all of them.’( Isaiah 54:13) Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.

We know that we have left our old dead way of life. And we have entered into new life. We know this because we love one another. Anyone who doesn’t love still lives in their old condition.Anyone who hates their brother or sister is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has eternal life.We know what love is because Jesus Christ gave his life for us. So we should give our lives for our brothers and sisters.Suppose someone sees a brother or sister in need and is able to help them. And suppose that person doesn’t take pity on these needy people. Then how can the love of God be in that person?Dear children, don’t just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love.Here’s how we know that we hold to the truth. And here’s how we put our hearts at rest, knowing that God is watching.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in peace!

But the Father will send the Friend in my name to help you. The Friend is the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things. He will remind you of everything I have said to you.

You are the children that God dearly loves. So follow his example.Lead a life of love, just as Christ did. He loved us. He gave himself up for us. He was a sweet- smelling offering and sacrifice to God.

“ This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts. I will write my laws on their minds.”( Jeremiah 31:33)

This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds. I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.People will not teach their neighbor anymore. They will not say to one another,‘ Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. From the least important to the most important, all of them will know me.

Whoever eats it will be held responsible. They have misused what is holy to me. They will be separated from their people.

How can you forget me? I made you. I stretch out the heavens. I lay the foundations of the earth. Why are you terrified every day? Is it because those who are angry with you are crushing you? Is it because they are trying to destroy you? Their anger can’t harm you anymore.

To godliness, add kindness for one another. And to kindness for one another, add love.

They will not need to teach their neighbor anymore. And they will not need to teach one another anymore. They will not need to say,‘ Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. From the least important of them to the most important, all of them will know me,” announces the Lord.“ I will forgive their evil ways. I will not remember their sins anymore.”

Most of all, love one another deeply. Love erases many sins by forgiving them.

All the believers were agreed in heart and mind. They didn’t claim that anything they had was their own. Instead, they shared everything they owned.

And the second is like it.‘ Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’( Leviticus 19:18)

Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding. Love one another. Be kind and tender. Be humble.

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become a child of God and knows God.Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.Here is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world. He sent him so we could receive life through him.Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.Dear friends, since God loved us this much, we should also love one another.No one has ever seen God. But if we love one another, God lives in us. His love is made complete in us.Here’s how we know that we are joined to him and he to us. He has given us his Holy Spirit.The Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. We have seen it and are witnesses to it.God lives in anyone who agrees that Jesus is the Son of God. This kind of person remains joined to God.So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them.
