於是王使但以理成為高貴大臣，又賜給他許多珍貴的贈品，使他掌權管理巴比倫全省，又立他為總務長管理巴比倫所有的博士。

我親愛的弟兄們請聽，上帝豈不是揀選了世人以為窮的而富於信仰，以承受他所應許給愛他之人的國麼？

『上帝奠定大地時、你在哪裏？你若領會明達，只管訴說。你一定知道；是誰定地的尺度，是誰把準繩拉於地上。地的基礎奠於何物之上？地的角石是誰安放的？

又使我們成國為祭司、可親近他的父上帝。願榮耀權能歸於他、世世無窮！阿們。

使他們成國為祭司、可親近我們的上帝；他們必在地上掌王權。』

撒母耳說：『你雖曾自看為微小，你豈不是以色列族派的元首麼？永恆主膏立了你為王來管理以色列；

你可以掌管我的家；我的人民都必須聽從你所吩咐的；惟獨在王位上，我才比你大。』

因為是他把地奠定於海上，把地建立於江河之際。

現在你要對我僕人大衛這樣說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：我將你從羊圈中、從趕羊羣的事上選取了來，讓你做人君來管理我人民以色列。

你將地奠定於根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。

你起初奠定了地的根基；天乃是你的手所造的。

法老就打發人去召約瑟；他們急忙忙地催他出監，他就剃頭刮臉，更換衣裳，進到法老面前。

這件事乃是由那些警衛者所發的命令；這事情是由那些聖者所傳的話，好叫眾生知道：至高者在人國中掌權，他喜歡將國賜給誰、就賜給誰；或是立極卑微的人執掌國權。」

他不容惡人活着，卻讓困苦人得公平權利。他目不轉睛地看顧義人，使他們跟君王在寶座上永遠同坐而被高舉。

於是這但以理，因有非常高超之靈在他裏頭，他便出類拔萃於眾總長和總督之上；王就想要立他來管理全國。

他用他的膀臂施展權能；用狂傲人心裏的妄想趕散了他們；他使有權力的從座位上黜落，使卑微的升高；

得勝的、我必賜他和我同坐我寶座，正如我得了勝，和我父同坐他寶座一樣。

必不再有黑夜；他們也不需要燈光或日光，因為主上帝必做他們的光。他們必掌王權、世世無窮。

他是上帝榮耀所發的光輝，是上帝本質印出的相。他用他能力的話扶載萬有。既成就了潔淨罪的事，便坐在高天『皇威』的右邊。
