This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

This day the Lord will give me the victory over you. I’ll strike you down. I’ll cut your head off. This day I’ll feed the bodies of the Philistine army to the birds and wild animals. Then the whole world will know there is a God in Israel.

耶和華要向萬國展現祂神聖的大能，普天下將看見我們上帝的救恩。

這是要讓天下萬民都知道耶和華有無比的能力，要讓你們永遠敬畏你們的上帝耶和華。」

我們的上帝耶和華啊，現在求你從亞述王手中拯救我們，讓天下萬國都知道唯有你是耶和華。」

求你從天上的居所垂聽，應允他們的祈求，好叫天下萬民都像你的以色列子民一樣認識你的名，敬畏你，並知道我建造的這殿屬於你的名下。

我下令，我統治的國民都要敬畏但以理的上帝，因為祂是永活長存的上帝，祂的國度永不滅亡，祂的統治直到永遠。祂庇護、拯救，在天上地下行神蹟奇事，救但以理脫離獅子的口。」

你們的屍體要成為飛禽走獸的食物，必無人趕走牠們。

又說：「你過來，我要把你的肉丟給天上的飛禽和地上的走獸。」

祂說：「要安靜，要知道我是上帝，我必在列國受尊崇，在普世受尊崇。」

我讓你活到現在，是為了向你彰顯我的權能，使我的名傳遍天下。

我們的上帝耶和華啊，現在求你從亞述王手中拯救我們，讓天下萬國都知道唯有你是耶和華。」

到了獻晚祭的時候，以利亞先知走到壇前禱告：「亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和華啊，求你今天讓這些人知道你是以色列的上帝，我是你的僕人，我是按你的命令做這一切事。耶和華啊，求你應允我，應允我，好讓眾人知道你耶和華是上帝，你要使他們回心轉意。」

王對但以理說：「你們的上帝真是萬神之神、萬王之主、奧秘的啟示者，因為你能揭開這個奧秘。」

現在我下令，不論何民、何邦、何族，若譭謗沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的上帝，必被碎屍萬段，他們的家必淪為廢墟，因為沒有別的神明能這樣施行拯救。」

你們的上帝耶和華要將他們交給你們，使他們驚恐萬狀，直到被滅絕。

屍體在哪裡，禿鷹就會聚集在哪裡。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽裡，對空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喚：「來吧！一起來參加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、將軍、勇士、馬匹、騎士、自由人、奴隸和尊卑老少的肉吧！」

是長得高大威猛的亞衲人。你們瞭解他們，也聽人說過，『誰能抵擋亞衲人呢？』但今天你們要知道，你們的上帝耶和華要走在你們前面，像烈火一樣吞噬他們。祂要制伏他們，使你們迅速趕走他們，毀滅他們，正如祂對你們的應許。

當你們的上帝耶和華把他們交在你們手裡、使你們打敗他們後，你們必須徹底毀滅他們。不可與他們立約，不可憐憫他們。

你沒有將我交給仇敵，而是領我到寬闊之地。

田野和林中的走獸啊，來吞吃吧！

各邦各族聽見這些事就發抖，非利士人也痛苦不堪，以東的族長惶恐，摩押的英雄顫慄，迦南的居民都膽戰心驚。

耶和華對約書亞說：「不要害怕，我已經把他們交在你手中，他們沒有一人能抵擋你。」
