Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

大卫对非利士人说：“你来攻击我，是靠着刀枪和铜矛，但我来攻击你，是靠着万军之耶和华的名，就是你所辱骂、带领以色列军队的神。

大卫答道：“你是靠刀枪剑戟来攻击我，我是靠万军之耶和华的名，就是你所蔑视的以色列军队的上帝来迎战你。

大卫回答那非利士人：“你来攻击我是靠刀、靠矛、靠枪，但我来攻击你是靠万军之耶和华的名；万军之耶和华就是你所辱骂的以色列军队的神。

大卫对那非利士人说：“你是靠着刀剑、长矛和标枪来对付我，而我是靠着你所辱骂的以色列军队的神——万军之耶和华的名来对付你。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅戟；我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所怒罵帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅矛，但我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所辱罵、帶領以色列軍隊的上帝。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅矛，但我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所辱罵、帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛答道：「你是靠刀槍劍戟來攻擊我，我是靠萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所蔑視的以色列軍隊的上帝來迎戰你。

大衛回答那非利士人：“你來攻擊我是靠刀、靠矛、靠槍，但我來攻擊你是靠萬軍之耶和華的名；萬軍之耶和華就是你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對那非利士人說：『你來對我迎戰、是靠着刀矛短槍；我來對你迎戰、是靠着萬軍之永恆主耶和華的名、以色列陣營的上帝、就是你所辱罵的。

大衛對那非利士人說：「你是靠著刀劍、長矛和標槍來對付我，而我是靠著你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神——萬軍之耶和華的名來對付你。

大衛曰、爾來迎我、以劍與槍及戟、我來迎爾、以萬軍耶和華之名、即爾所侮以色列軍旅之上帝、

大闢曰、爾侮以色列族上帝之軍旅、爾來迎我、執利劍、用干戈、我來迎爾、恃萬有之主耶和華。

大衛對非利士人曰、爾來迎我、以刀與槍與干、干或作戟我來迎爾、恃萬有之主之名、爾所侮辱以色列之隊伍、萬有之主即其天主也、

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to Goliath,“ You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David replied to the Philistine,“ You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies— the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with a sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Armies, the God of the ranks of Israel— you have defied him.

But David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a saber, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

David said to the Philistine:“ You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel’s armies— you have defied Him.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

But David replied to the Philistine,“ You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied!

An arm of flesh is with him, but Yahweh our God is with us to help us and to fight our battles.” The people rested themselves on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

Our help is in Yahweh’s name, who made heaven and earth.Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

Your servant struck both the lion and the bear. This uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.”

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.

The Philistine said,“ I defy the armies of Israel today! Give me a man, that we may fight together!”

Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Yahweh grant all your requests.Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God.

All the nations surrounded me, but in Yahweh’s name, I cut them off.They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Yahweh’s name I indeed cut them off.

For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

What more shall I say? For the time would fail me if I told of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets,who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked out righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.

Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying,“ What shall be done to the man who kills this Philistine, and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

Yahweh’s name is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe.
