當為所信之道作善戰、持定永生、爾為此而蒙召、且在眾證者前、自訴善志、欲信此道、

自以為天主必能使其子由死復活、固如由死中而復得之也、

行路時、至有水處、宦官曰、在此有水、我受洗禮、有何阻乎、

至愛者乎、我儕既得如此之應許、則當自潔、除身心之諸污、畏天主以成聖、○

我之良心、證我處世為人、常以天主所賜之誠心實意、不恃肉體之智慧、惟恃天主之恩寵、我在爾中更如是、此乃我所誇者也、
