希西家面壁、禱耶和華曰、

散後、則潛登山祈禱、薄暮獨在、

撒拉弗侍立其側、各有六翼、以二翼蔽面、二翼覆足、二翼飛翔、

彼在聖者會中為神、極為可畏、較環之者、尤為可懼兮、

維時、耶穌出、入山以禱、終夜祈求上帝、

宜彼此認罪、互相祈禱、致可得愈、蓋義者之懇求、大有成效也、以利亞為人、情同我儕、切求不雨、則不雨於地、歷三年有六月、再求、則天賜雨、而地出其產、○

曰、我上帝歟、予抱愧赧顏、不敢向我上帝仰面、蓋我儕愆尤滅頂、罪戾滔天、

大衛為子祈禱上帝、禁食、入室終夜伏地、

亞伯拉罕之僕聞言、俯伏於地、崇拜耶和華、

少進、伏地祈曰、若或能之、俾免此時、
