For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.

我若樂意為此、則必得賞、若不樂意、則其任仍託於我、

若予之傳道為出於自動、則受酬宜也、今既有所受命、則在予為一受託之義務而已。

If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me.

If I preach because I want to, I get a reward. If I preach because I have to, I’m only doing my duty.

For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with a stewardship.

If I were doing this on my own initiative, I would deserve payment. But I have no choice, for God has given me this sacred trust.

For if I do this willingly, I have a reward, but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a commission.

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a commission nonetheless.

For if I do this of mine own will, I have a reward: but if not of mine own will, I have a stewardship intrusted to me.

For if I do this willingly, I have a reward, but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation[ of the gospel] is committed unto me.

But on the contrary, when they saw that the gospel for the uncircumcised had been committed to me, as the gospel for the circumcised was to Peter

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly;nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.

And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.

the gold for things of gold and the silver for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be done by the hands of craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”

See, I have told you beforehand.

But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.

But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

But he said,“ O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said:“ Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

But without your consent I wanted to do nothing, that your good deed might not be by compulsion, as it were, but voluntary.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.

But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry.So he prayed to the Lord, and said,“ Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.Therefore now, O Lord, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live!”

according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

And the Lord said,“ Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

“ Who is there even among you who would shut the doors, So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ Nor will I accept an offering from your hands.

if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery( as I have briefly written already,by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.
