For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

我传福音原没有可夸的，因为我是不得已的。若不传福音，我便有祸了。

蓋我引以為榮者、不在宣傳福音；蓋宣傳福音、在吾為義不容辭之事、實有所受命耳。若中途而廢、則吾其休矣！

For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

But when I preach the good news, I can’t brag. I have to preach it. How terrible it will be for me if I do not preach the good news!

For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!

For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am compelled to preach— and woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for I am under compulsion; for woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.

And say to Archippus,“ Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’“ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

But Jesus said to him,“ No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

So I said:“ Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Then the Lord took me as I followed the flock, And the Lord said to me,‘ Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’

A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?

O Lord, You induced me, and I was persuaded; You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I am in derision daily; Everyone mocks me.

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.

Then I said,“ I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.

“ Therefore prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them.
