Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated?

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.

Do you not know that your bodies are parts of Christ? Shall I then take away the parts of Christ and make them parts of a prostitute? Far from it!

For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;and that no one violate the rights and take advantage of his brother or sister in the matter, because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you previously and solemnly warned you.For God has not called us for impurity, but in sanctification.

( which all refer to things destined to perish with use)— in accordance with the commandments and teachings of man?These are matters which do have the appearance of wisdom in self made religion and humility and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?”( Thereby He declared all foods clean.)

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.”

For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself;for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

These are the things that defile the person; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the person.”

and they all ate the same spiritual food,and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased; for their dead bodies were spread out in the wilderness.

For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
