有人得行異能、有人得言未來之事、有人得辨神之真偽、有人得言方言、方言或作神言除十四章十節方言之外下同有人得解方言、

或行靈蹟、或作預言、或識別神之真偽、或操方言、或譯方言；

to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages.

He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

He therefore that supplieth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.If any man speaketh in a tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and that in turn; and let one interpret:but if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.And let the prophets speak by two or three, and let the others discern.

And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.

Follow after love; yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.For he that speaketh in a tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God; for no man understandeth; but in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men edification, and exhortation, and consolation.He that speaketh in a tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.Now I would have you all speak with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: and greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

Now these are the last words of David. David the son of Jesse saith, And the man who was raised on high saith, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel:The Spirit of Jehovah spake by me, And his word was upon my tongue.

And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be a great famine over all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius.

But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speaking in his own language.And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying, Behold, are not all these that speak Galilæans?And how hear we, every man in our own language wherein we were born?Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, in Judæa and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,in Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and sojourners from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking in our tongues the mighty works of God.And they were all amazed, and were perplexed, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
