不過，如果有人告訴你這些是獻給偶像的祭物，你為了那告訴你的人和良心的緣故，就不要吃。

若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，就要为那告诉你们的人，并为良心的缘故不吃。

若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，那么为了那告诉你们的人，并为了良心的缘故就不吃。

若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，那么为了那告诉你们的人，并为了良心的缘故就不吃。

不过，如果有人告诉你这些是献给偶像的祭物，你为了那告诉你的人和良心的缘故，就不要吃。

但是如果有人告诉你们：“这是献过祭的食物。”那么，为了那告诉你们的人，也为了良心的缘故，就不要吃。

但如果有人对你们说：“这是祭过偶像的食物”，那么，为了那指明这事的人和良心的缘故，你们就不要吃——

若有人對你們說：「這是獻過祭的物」，就要為那告訴你們的人，並為良心的緣故不吃。

但如果有人對你們說：「這是祭過偶像的食物」，那麼，為了那指明這事的人和良心的緣故，你們就不要吃——

設有語爾者曰、此乃祭物、則勿食之、為語爾者、且為良心也、

設有告爾者曰、此祭偶像之物、則勿食、以告爾者、亦心疑故也、蓋天下萬物、無不屬主、

如有人告爾曰、此乃祭偶像之物、則勿食之、因告爾之故、亦因心疑之故、蓋地與地所載之物皆屬主、蓋地與地所載之物皆屬主有原文抄本無此句

若有人告曰：『此為祭餘之物、』則雖為其人之故、亦不可遽食；是亦為良心平安計耳。

But if someone says to you,“ This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience.

But suppose someone says to you,“ This food has been sacrificed to a statue of a god.” Then don’t eat it. Keep in mind the good of the person who told you. And don’t eat because of a sense of what is right and wrong.

But if someone says to you,“ This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience—

( But suppose someone tells you,“ This meat was offered to an idol.” Don’t eat it, out of consideration for the conscience of the one who told you.

But if someone says to you,“ This is food from a sacrifice,” do not eat it, out of consideration for the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience.

But if anyone says to you,“ This is meat sacrificed to idols,” do not eat it, for the sake of that one who informed you and for the sake of conscience;

But if anyone says to you,“ This was offered to idols,” do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; for“ the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”

But if any man say unto you, This hath been offered in sacrifice, eat not, for his sake that showed it, and for conscience’ sake:

But if someone says to you,“ This is food offered to an idol,” do not eat it, out of consideration for the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth[ is] the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

But if someone says to you,“ This is from a sacrifice,” do not eat, because of the one who told you and because of conscience–

But if anyone says to you,“ This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For“ the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

如果有人看見你這明白以上道理的人竟然坐在偶像的廟中吃喝，他雖然良心不安，豈不還是會放膽吃獻給偶像的祭物嗎？這樣，你的知識反而令那軟弱的人，就是基督捨命救回的弟兄沉淪。你們這樣得罪弟兄，傷了他脆弱的良心，就是得罪基督。所以，如果我吃某些食物會令我的弟兄在信仰上跌倒，我就情願永遠不吃，免得令他們跌倒。

不過，並不是所有的人都有這種知識。有些人因為以前拜慣了偶像，現在吃到某些食物就覺得是祭過偶像的，因而良心不安，覺得自己被玷污了。

如果你吃的東西令弟兄姊妹不安，你就不是憑愛心行事。你不可因為一點食物而損害基督捨命救贖的人。

看啊，諸天、大地和萬物都屬於你們的上帝耶和華。

摩西回答說：「我一出城，就向耶和華舉手禱告，雷電和冰雹必立刻停止，這樣你就知道普天下都屬於耶和華。

所以，你們不要憂慮『吃什麼？喝什麼？穿什麼？』因為這些都是外族人的追求，你們的天父知道你們的需要。

高天屬於耶和華，但祂把大地賜給了世人。

因為世界和其中的萬物都屬於主。

大地和其中的萬物都屬於耶和華，世上的一切都是祂的。

我伸出大能的臂膀創造了大地、地上的人類和動物，我想把大地賜給誰就賜給誰。現在，我要把你們的國家交給我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，連田野的走獸也要歸他管轄。
