是故凡屬和平之術、令人易於為善、以達己立立人之目的者、皆吾人所當盡心也。豈可為食物之細故、而破壞天主之妙工。凡物皆淨、固矣；然若以爾之食、為厲之階、凶莫甚焉！

是故吾人之強於信德者、當為弱者包荒、勿以悅己為事。人人應俯就其鄰友、扶掖其後進、以成其善。

然則兄弟究應如何？爾等聚會時、各有貢獻、或以聖詠、或以教理、或以啟示、或以方言、或以繙譯；總之、亦在己立立人、己達達人而已矣。

爾等以為吾儕但欲自為辨白耳。實則吾儕對越在天、言不離基督、在一切事上、惟欲己達達人、己立立人而已矣。

勿傾心於無稽之談、以及不可窮究之祖譜耳。此種研究、徒滋紛爭、非所以建植信德、而促進天主之聖謨也。

是故爾既有志於靈賦、則須以建立聖會為宗旨。

至論祭肉如何、吾人皆曰斯易知耳。然知能長傲、惟愛德則能立己立人也。

惟作先知之言、則所以覺眾；立人達人、勸人慰人、於是乎賴。作方言者立己、而作預言者立眾。吾固願爾等皆能操方言、顧吾尤望爾等能作預言。蓋操方言者、苟非自譯以裨會眾、則不若預言之為愈也。
