Psalms 50:7 - “Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify against you: I am God, your God.
Psalms 50:8 - I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; Your burnt offerings are continually before Me.
Psalms 50:9 - I will accept no young bull from your house Nor male goat from your folds.
Psalms 50:10 - For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills.
Psalms 50:11 - I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine.
Psalms 50:12 - If I were hungry, I would not tell you, For the world and all it contains are Mine.
Psalms 50:13 - Shall I eat the flesh of bulls Or drink the blood of male goats?
Amos 5:21 - “I hate, I despise and reject your [sacred] feasts, And I do not take delight in your solemn assemblies.
Amos 5:22 - Even though you offer Me your burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them; And I will not even look at the peace offerings of your fattened animals.
Isaiah 60:6 - A multitude of camels [from the eastern trading tribes] will cover you [Jerusalem], The young camels of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba [who once came to trade] will come Bringing gold and frankincense And proclaiming the praises of the Lord.
Psalms 40:6 - Sacrifice and meal offering You do not desire, nor do You delight in them; You have opened my ears and given me the capacity to hear [and obey Your word]; Burnt offerings and sin offerings You do not require.
Micah 6:6 - With what shall I come before the Lord [to honor Him] And bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves?
Micah 6:7 - Will the Lord be delighted with thousands of rams, Or with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my acts of rebellion, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Micah 6:8 - He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?
Isaiah 1:11 - “What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me [without your repentance]?” Says the Lord. “I have had enough of [your] burnt offerings of rams And the fat of well-fed cattle [without your obedience]; And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls or lambs or goats [offered without repentance].
