아모스 3:6 - 성에서 전쟁의 나팔 소리가 나는데 백성이 어찌 두려워하지 않겠으며 여호와께서 보내시지 않았는데 어찌 성에 재앙이 밀어닥치겠느냐?
아모스 3:8 - 사자가 으르렁거리면 누가 두려워하지 않겠는가? 주 여호와께서 말씀하시면 누가 예언하지 않을 수 있겠는가?
호세아 8:1 - “나팔을 불어라! 대적들이 독수리처럼 나 여호와의 집을 덮치려 하고 있다. 이것은 내 백성이 나와 맺은 계약을 어기고 내 법을 거역하였기 때문이다.
예레미야 6:1 - “베냐민 자손들아, 안전하게 피신하라. 예루살렘에서 도망하라. 드고아에서 나팔을 불고 벧 – 학게렘에서 봉화를 올려라. 재앙과 큰 멸망이 북에서 밀어닥치려고 한다.
여호수아 10:20 - 이스라엘군이 계속 그들을 쳐죽이자 아모리족의 군대는 거의 전멸하다시피 하였고 겨우 몇 명만 살아 남아 간신히 자기들의 요새 성으로 도피하였다.
예레미야 8:14 - 그때 백성들이 이렇게 말할 것이다. “우리가 어찌 가만히 앉아만 있겠느냐? 자, 모여라! 요새 성으로 도망가서 거기서 멸망하자. 우리가 여호와께 범죄하였으므로 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리를 멸망시키기로 작정하시고 우리에게 마실 독을 주셨다.
