and you have 30:2 See Ps. 6:2healed me.
you restored me to life from among those who 30:3 Ps. 28:1go down to the pit.30:3 Or to life, that I should not go down to the pit
and 30:4 Ps. 97:12; [1 Chr. 16:4]give thanks to his holy name.30:4 Hebrew to the memorial of his holiness (see Exodus 3:15)
and 30:5 Ps. 63:3his favor is for a lifetime.30:5 Or and in his favor is life
30:5 [2 Cor. 4:17, 18] Weeping may tarry for the night,
but 30:5 Ps. 126:5 (Heb.)joy comes with the morning.
6As for me, I said in my 30:6 [Job 29:18; Prov. 1:32] prosperity,
“I shall never be 30:6 Ps. 10:6moved.”
7By your favor, O Lord,
you made my 30:7 [2 Sam. 5:9] mountain stand strong;
you 30:7 Ps. 104:29; [Deut. 31:17] hid your face;
I was 30:7 [2 Sam. 24:10]dismayed.
8To you, O Lord, I cry,
and 30:8 Ps. 142:1to the Lord I plead for mercy:
9“What profit is there in my death,30:9 Hebrew in my blood
if I go down to the pit?30:9 Or to corruption
Will 30:9 See Ps. 6:5the dust praise you?
Will it tell of your faithfulness?
O Lord, be my helper!”
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
