7Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse,

89:8 [Matt. 7:6] Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you;
9:8 See Ps. 141:5reprove a wise man, and he will love you.

teach a righteous man, and he will 9:9 ch. 1:5increase in learning.
109:10 See ch. 1:7The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and 9:10 ch. 30:3the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
11For by me 9:11 [ch. 10:27]; See ch. 3:2your days will be multiplied,
and years will be added to your life.
129:12 [Job 22:2, 3; 1 Cor. 3:8; Gal. 6:5]If you are wise, you are wise for yourself;
if you scoff, you alone will bear it.
