Micah 第7章
Wait for the God of Salvation
1Woe is me! For I have become
7:1 Isa. 24:13; [Isa. 17:6] as when the summer fruit has been gathered,
as when the grapes have been gleaned:
there is no cluster to eat,
no 7:1 Hos. 9:10first-ripe fig that my soul desires.
and 7:2 Isa. 9:19each hunts the other with a net.
and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul;
thus they weave it together.
4The best of them is 7:4 [2 Sam. 23:6, 7; Nah. 1:10]; See Ezek. 2:6like a brier,
the most upright of them a thorn hedge.
The day of 7:4 See Ezek. 33:2your watchmen, of your punishment, has come;
have no confidence in a friend;
guard 7:5 [Ps. 141:3]the doors of your mouth
from her who lies in your arms;7:5 Hebrew bosom
6for 7:6 Ezek. 22:7; [Matt. 10:21, 35; Luke 12:53] the son treats the father with contempt,
the daughter rises up against her mother,
the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
7:6 Cited Matt. 10:36a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
7But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
7:7 [Lam. 3:26]I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.
7:8 Ps. 37:24when I fall, I shall rise;
7:8 Ps. 112:4when I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be a light to me.
because I have sinned against him,
until 7:9 See 1 Sam. 24:15he pleads my cause
and executes judgment for me.
7:9 Ps. 37:6He will bring me out to the light;
I shall look upon his vindication.
and shame will cover her who 7:10 See Joel 2:17said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”
7:10 ch. 4:11My eyes will look upon her;
now she will be trampled down
7:10 Ps. 18:42; See 2 Sam. 22:43like the mire of the streets.
117:11 [Ps. 102:13]A day for the building of your walls!
In that day the boundary shall be far extended.
12In that day they7:12 Hebrew he will come to you,
7:12 [Isa. 11:11, 16; 19:23, 24; 27:13; Hos. 11:11; Zech. 10:10] from Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
and from Egypt to 7:12 See Gen. 31:21the River,7:12 That is, the Euphrates
7:12 Zech. 9:10from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.
because of its inhabitants,
for the fruit of their deeds.
the flock of your inheritance,
who dwell alone in a forest
7:14 Jer. 50:19; [Zech. 10:10] in the midst of 7:14 See Josh. 19:26a garden land;7:14 Hebrew of Carmel
let them graze in Bashan and Gilead
as in the days of old.
157:15 Ps. 78:12; See Isa. 11:16As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them7:15 Hebrew him marvelous things.
167:16 [Isa. 26:11; 52:15] The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
7:16 See Judg. 18:19they shall lay their hands on their mouths;
their ears shall be deaf;
177:17 Ps. 72:9; Isa. 49:23they shall lick the dust like a serpent,
like the crawling things of the earth;
7:17 Ps. 18:45they shall come trembling out of their strongholds;
7:17 [ch. 4:1]they shall turn in dread to the Lord our God,
and they shall be in fear of you.
God’s Steadfast Love and Compassion
and passing over transgression
7:18 Jer. 50:20; See Ex. 34:7for the remnant of his inheritance?
7:18 Ps. 103:9He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
7:19 [Rom. 6:14] he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
7:19 [Isa. 38:17]You will cast all our7:19 Hebrew their sins
into the depths of the sea.
and steadfast love to Abraham,
from the days of old.
