Ezekiel 第12章
Judah’s Captivity Symbolized
1The word of the Lord came to me:
212:2 See ch. 2:1“Son of man, you dwell in the midst of 12:2 See ch. 2:3, 5a rebellious house, 12:2 Isa. 42:18; Matt. 13:13who have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are 12:2 See ch. 2:3, 5a rebellious house.
3As for you, son of man, prepare for yourself 12:3 ver. 4, 7an exile’s baggage, and go into exile by day 12:3 ch. 4:12; 21:6; 37:20; 43:11in their sight. You shall go like an exile from your place to another place 12:3 ch. 4:12; 21:6; 37:20; 43:11in their sight. 12:3 See Jer. 36:3Perhaps they will understand, though12:3 Or will see that they are a rebellious house.
4You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for exile, and you shall go out yourself 12:4 [2 Kgs. 25:4; Jer. 39:4; 52:7]at evening in their sight, as those do who must go into exile.
8In the morning the word of the Lord came to me:
912:9 See ch. 2:1“Son of man, has not the house of Israel, 12:9 See ch. 2:3, 5the rebellious house, said to you, 12:9 [ch. 17:12; 24:19; 37:18]‘What are you doing?’
10Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: This oracle concerns12:10 Or This burden is12:10 [ch. 21:25]; See 2 Chr. 36:11-13the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are in it.’12:10 Hebrew in the midst of them
11Say, 12:11 [ver. 6] ‘I am a sign for you: 12:11 [ch. 24:24]as I have done, so shall it be done to them. They shall go into exile, into captivity.’
1212:12 [2 Kgs. 25:4] And the prince who is among them shall lift his baggage upon his shoulder at dusk, and shall go out. 12:12 [ver. 5] They shall dig through the wall to bring him out through it. 12:12 [ver. 6]He shall cover his face, that he may not see the land with his eyes.
1312:13 ch. 17:20; 19:8; 32:3; [Hos. 7:12] And I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And 12:13 [2 Kgs. 25:7; Jer. 32:4, 5; 52:11]I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, 12:13 [2 Kgs. 25:7; Jer. 32:4, 5; 52:11]yet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.
1412:14 [2 Kgs. 25:5]; See ch. 5:10And I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him, his helpers and all his troops, 12:14 See ch. 5:2and I will unsheathe the sword after them.
17And the word of the Lord came to me:
1812:18 See ch. 2:1“Son of man, 12:18 [ch. 4:10, 11]eat your bread with quaking, and drink water with trembling and with anxiety.
19And say to the people of the land, Thus says the Lord God concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: 12:19 ch. 4:16They shall eat their bread with anxiety, 12:19 ch. 4:16and drink water in dismay. In this way 12:19 [ch. 32:15; Zech. 7:14] her land will be stripped of all it contains, 12:19 ch. 7:11, 23on account of the violence of all those who dwell in it.
21And the word of the Lord came to me:
22“Son of man, 12:22 [ch. 16:44; 18:2, 3] what is this proverb that you12:22 The Hebrew for you is plural have about the land of Israel, saying, 12:22 [ver. 27; ch. 11:3; 2 Pet. 3:4]‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing’?
23Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.’ But say to them, 12:23 [ch. 7:7, 12]The days are near, and the fulfillment12:23 Hebrew word of every vision.
2412:24 ch. 13:23For there shall be no more any 12:24 ch. 13:6, 7false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25For I am the Lord; I will speak 12:25 Isa. 55:11the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. 12:25 Isa. 13:22It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, 12:25 See ch. 2:3, 5O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”
