1Be gracious to me, God, for man tramples me;
he fights and oppresses me all day long.
2My adversaries trample me all day,
for many arrogantly fight against me. Or many fight against me, O exalted One, or many fight against me from the heights Ps 35:1; 57:3
3When I am afraid,
I will trust in You. Ps 112:7; Pr 29:25; Is 12:2
4In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? Ps 27:1; 118:6; Heb 13:6
5They twist my words all day long;
all their thoughts against me are evil. Ps 41:7; 2Pt 3:16
6They stir up strife, Or They attack they lurk;
they watch my steps
while they wait to take my life. Ps 10:8-10; 59:3
7Will they escape in spite of such sin?
God, bring down the nations in wrath. Ezk 17:15; Rm 2:3
8You Yourself have recorded my wanderings. Or misery
Put my tears in Your bottle.

9Then my enemies will retreat on the day when I call. Ps 9:3

10In God, whose word I praise,

13For You delivered me from death,
