我追念天主所應許之言、我讚美天主、倚賴天主、即無所恐懼、世人何能害我、

我之所恃。惟在聖躬。

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything?Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the One who justifies.Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the One who died, but even more, has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?As it is written: Because of You we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us.For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers,height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom should I be afraid?

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise,in God I trust; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

“ And I say to you, My friends, don’t fear those who kill the body, and after that can do nothing more.But I will show you the One to fear: Fear Him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the One to fear!

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

Egyptians are men, not God; their horses are flesh, not spirit. When the Lord raises His hand to strike, the helper will stumble and the one who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

Lord, Your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven.Your faithfulness is for all generations; You established the earth, and it stands firm.

The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up.

I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and truth. You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else.

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times.

The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever.
