  • Hebrews 3:6 - But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.
  • Genesis 22:18 - And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed—all because you have obeyed me.”
  • Galatians 3:10 - But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”
  • Galatians 3:11 - So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
  • Galatians 3:12 - This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”

  • Acts of the Apostles 28:23 - So a time was set, and on that day a large number of people came to Paul’s lodging. He explained and testified about the Kingdom of God and tried to persuade them about Jesus from the Scriptures. Using the law of Moses and the books of the prophets, he spoke to them from morning until evening.
  • John 7:19 - Moses gave you the law, but none of you obeys it! In fact, you are trying to kill me.”
  • John 1:14 - So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
  • 2 Corinthians 3:7 - The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.
  • 2 Corinthians 3:8 - Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life?
  • 2 Corinthians 3:9 - If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God!
  • 2 Corinthians 3:10 - In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way.
  • Romans 5:20 - God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.
  • Romans 5:21 - So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • John 8:32 - And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
  • Hebrews 9:22 - In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
  • Romans 3:19 - Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.
  • Romans 3:20 - For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
  • Romans 3:21 - But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.
  • Romans 3:22 - We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
  • Romans 3:23 - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
  • Romans 3:24 - Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
  • Romans 3:25 - For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,
  • Romans 3:26 - for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.
  • John 14:6 - Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
  • Romans 6:14 - Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
