The Law of the Lord Is Perfect
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

119:1 Ps. 50:6; [Rom. 1:19, 20]The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above19:1 Hebrew the expanse; compare Genesis 1:6–8 proclaims his handiwork.
2Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
3There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
419:4 Cited Rom. 10:18Their 19:4 [Isa. 28:10] voice19:4 Or Their measuring line goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for 19:4 [Eccles. 1:5]the sun,
519:5 [Judg. 5:31] which comes out like 19:5 Joel 2:16a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

11Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
