Isaiah 第2章
The Mountain of the Lord
1The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
22:2 For ver. 2-4, see Mic. 4:1-3It shall come to pass in the latter days
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and shall be lifted up above the hills;
and 2:2 [ch. 56:7]all the nations shall flow to it,
3and 2:3 See Zech. 8:20-23many peoples shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4He shall judge between the nations,
and shall decide disputes for many peoples;
2:4 [Joel 3:10] and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
2:4 ch. 9:7; Ps. 72:3, 7; Hos. 2:18; Zech. 9:10nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.

The Day of the Lord
6For you have rejected your people,
the house of Jacob,
because they are full of things 2:6 [2 Kgs. 16:10, 11] from the east
and 2:6 Mic. 5:12of fortune-tellers 2:6 2 Kgs. 1:2like the Philistines,
and they 2:6 [2 Kgs. 16:7, 8]strike hands with the children of foreigners.
7Their land is 2:7 ch. 39:2; [ch. 22:8, 11; Deut. 17:17] filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to their treasures;
their land is 2:7 ch. 30:16; [Deut. 17:16; Mic. 5:10]filled with horses,
and there is no end to their chariots.

to what their own fingers have made.

do not forgive them!
and hide in the dust
