我耶和華震怒之日、彼有金銀、不得贖其生命、我怒憤烈、必毀斯土、所居之民、必猝然殄絶之焉。

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.” In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.

Their silver and gold won’t save them on the day the Lord pours out his anger. The whole earth will be burned up when his jealous anger blazes out. Everyone who lives on earth will come to a sudden end.”

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.

Your silver and gold will not save you on that day of the Lord’s anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people on earth.

Their silver and their gold will be unable to rescue them on the day of the LORD’s wrath. The whole earth will be consumed by the fire of his jealousy, for he will make a complete, yes, a horrifying end of all the inhabitants of the earth.

耶和華云、我有定命、和集列邦、憤怒奮發、氣燄殊張、殲滅天下、我既勃興、降此刑譴、爾當祈求、

我怒之日、彼棄金銀於逵衢、欲救其命、欲果其腹、欲安其心、亦屬無益、昔作惡以得之、今使之顛躓。

降禍之日、貨財亦復何裨、臨死之時、仁義足以自救。

我於斯土、必使百物殄絶、居民野獸、飛鳥海魚、偶像惡人、俱必殞亡、我耶和華已言之矣。

耶和華曰、將以我所造之人、翦滅於地、以及牲畜、昆蟲、飛鳥、然此雖由我作、我則悔焉。

耶和華使斯土荒蕪、國家傾覆、居民離散、若庶人若祭司、若僕若主、若婢女、若主母、若鬻諸人、若購於人、若貸人以金、若借人之金、若得子母、若納子母者、俱必流離失所、斯地必為邱墟、刧掠殆盡、耶和華已言之矣。土地荒蕪、居民哀哭、位高者亦廢、民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、上帝降災、居民遭譴、如受火烙、存者無幾、葡萄之樹、枝葉全枯、新釀之酒、臭味俱變、昔之懽愉者、今則慨嘆、播鼗鼓琴者無人欣喜、歡忭已止、飲酒之時、不再謳歌、以醇醪為甚苦、毀其城垣、鍵其宅第、無人得入、歡樂變為憂戚、通衢之民號呼、欲飲酒以消愁、城中荒蕪、邑門被毀、

我豈可激主怒乎、我豈勝於主乎、

耶路撒冷城變為瓦礫。野犬藏於其中、猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、我使之然。

我耶和華宰萬有、為以色列族有能之主、今頒斯詔、必報予仇讎、雪予忿怒、

其言曰、為惡之人、亦蒙矜憫、死之日友朋送喪。

利盡天下、而失生命者、何益之有、人將以何者易生命乎、

乃自謂曰、我有多物、積為歷年之用、此心可安然飲食喜樂也、上帝曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾魂、則所備者誰歸、凡積財於己、而上帝前不富有者、亦如是、○

猶大人行惡於耶和華前、所犯罪愆、致干震怒、較先人尤甚、

耶和華曰、賢者毋自其誇賢、能者毋自矜其能、富者毋自炫其富。我耶和華施仁義於天下、言出惟行、以此為悅、如爾識我耶和華、則可自詡。

其時我必震怒、遺棄斯民、不復眷顧、使其並吞於人、多更災患、彼必曰、我不蒙上帝所佑、致遭此禍。

若此者耶和華必不赦宥、其怒甚烈、以致中心如焚、氣如煙燄、必攻此人、以書所載之詛、加乎其身、塗抹其名於天下、在以色列諸支派中、耶和華必區別之、加以譴責、循此書所載之詛言。後世子孫、遠方賓旅、列邦眾庶、見此地之禍、暨耶和華所降之災、硫磺及鹽、焚燬徧地、不得耕耘、無物產、無草萊、如所多馬、蛾摩拉、押馬、西編、為耶和華所怒、而使之傾覆者、俱必問曰、耶和華降罰於斯土、何為至於如此、其烈怒之甚、又曷故乎。人必曰、昔導斯民出於埃及、其祖之上帝耶和華與之立約、斯民違其言、從他上帝而崇奉之、然他上帝彼所未識、耶和華亦未嘗姑聽其服事、故震怒斯民、以書所載之咒詛、加乎其身。耶和華怒甚烈、氣甚憤、拔其根株、驅逐於異邦、即以今日之事為證。

彼築崇邱、干其憤怒、彼事偶像、攖其忿懥兮、

彼以非上帝匹我、干我震怒、彼崇事虛無、使我忿懥、故我將子異民、使彼發奮、子頑民、使彼激勵。我之忿怒如火之燎、燃於幽冥、爇其全地、偕土產以俱焚、並山基而同燬。我降災非一、盡發弧矢、年饑而民餒、體熱而人廢、絕於疫癘、嚙於獸齒、傷於毒蛇、外亡以刃、內害以驚、丁男與處女、赤子與白首、淪胥以亡。

是日我將震怒、人民遭難、荒蕪傾圯、幽深玄遠、杳冥晦暗、

抹鐵居民、無不哀泣、以商旅殄滅、富室殞亡也。

貧者死、天使扶置亞伯拉罕懷、富人亦死而葬、陰間痛苦之際、舉目遙見亞伯拉罕、懷中有拉撒路、

彼恃貨財、誇豐富兮、然生命將絕、雖有密友不能贖之、而上帝錫以齡兮、生命之價、既貴且昂、欲贖無從兮、不能壽世而體不朽兮、

我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒寂爾居、掃除爾邑。爾既轉徙於敵國、則斯土荒寂、其壤可享安息。汝居斯土、遇安息日期、壤無憩息、故荒寂時、可獲憩息。

耶和華兮、爾震怒之予加、氣如烟燄、不識何時可息兮、

在猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢、不聞懽忭之聲、新娶者及新婦之音、遍地荒蕪、我使之然。

良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。耶和華曰、雖遍地荒蕪、我怒猶不息。因是地必愁慘、天必幽暗、蓋我言之、我志不回。乘馬執弓者、喧譁不靖、舉邑遁逃、入彼叢林、登彼險阻。眾邑荒蕪、無人居處。

我必罰爾、與背夫之婦、殺子之母同科、我怒甚烈、使爾飲刃、

彼所舉者、其狀若手、執余首髮、我為神所感、升於天地間、恍惚若睹異象、導我至耶路撒冷之內門、其門向北、見有偶像、上帝所斷不容以匹己者、我亦見以色列族上帝之榮光、與在平原異象中所見、無以異也。彼諭我曰、人子、北向而瞻望、我見、北方、祭壇門內有偶像、是上帝所不容以匹己者、

富人視財若鞏固之邑、高峻之垣。

上帝必使爾永亡、驅爾於室外、滅爾於宇內兮、義者見此、寅畏上帝、竊哂惡人、曰、彼其之子、輕上帝之能力、恃一己之貨財、強悍作惡兮、

主耶和華曰、我必降災、斯邦之民、以及野獸、林木、田土所產、我怒甚烈、靡人遏止。

是日也、人以所作之金銀偶像、居恆所崇拜者、投於鼹鼠蝙蝠之穴。耶和華有威可畏、勃然而興、地以震動、人必入於磐巖、匿於窟穴、以避其災。

我耶和華曰、他邦之民、以東諸族、中心叵測、喜得我地、驅逐居民、我怒憤烈、將加譴責、惟爾先知、當指以色列山岡溪谷、以我言告之、曰、爾為異邦人所辱、我怒憤烈、指己而誓、四國之人、必遭凌辱。
