I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

I will take the chariots away from Ephraim. I will remove the war horses from Jerusalem. I will break the bows that are used in battle. Your king will announce peace to the nations. He will rule from ocean to ocean. His kingdom will reach from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the war horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off, and he shall speak peace to the nations; his rule shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

I will remove the battle chariots from Israel and the warhorses from Jerusalem. I will destroy all the weapons used in battle, and your king will bring peace to the nations. His realm will stretch from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. The bow of war will be removed, and he will proclaim peace to the nations. His dominion will extend from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

是時我將為我民之故、與野獸、空中飛鳥、地上昆蟲立約、又在國中、折弓刃、去戰爭、使民得安居、

我將矜憫猶大族、使之賴主其天主得救、非賴弓刃、戰爭、馬與騎卒得救、原文作我將矜憫猶大族救之以主其天主不救之以弓刃戰爭馬與騎卒

蓋我儕之戰具、非屬血氣、乃賴天主、有力能破諸堅壘、凡諸計謀、諸傲慢、自高而逆天主道者、悉敗之、且以人之心志奪回、或作且擄人之心志使服基督、

彼流血在十字架、成就和平、父遂使萬物、無論在天者、在地者、由彼與己復和、爾素遠離、因爾行惡、心中與之為敵、

凡不事爾之民與國必滅、其邦盡亡、

今我見其道我將醫之、導之以行、加以慰藉、慰藉其憂傷之人、我必使其口讚頌我、我賜平康、賜平康於遠者近者、且我將醫之、此乃主所言、

主曰、當是時我將於爾中、絕爾馬、毀爾車、滅爾國之邑、拆爾諸鞏固之城、諸鞏固之城或作一切保障

彼在位時、善人必興盛、人享太平、如月之恆、從此海至彼海、自大河直至地極、悉歸其統轄、居於曠野者必跪於其前、其仇敵必伏於塵埃、他施與諸海島之列王、必來朝貢、示巴與西巴之君王、必進獻禮物、列王皆叩拜之、列國均服事之、

第七天使吹角、天有聲甚大、云、世間諸國、咸歸我主、亦歸其基督、彼將為王、至於世世、

因有一嬰孩為我儕而生、有一子賜於我儕、國政為其所肩荷、其名稱為奇妙、策士、全能之神、永在之父、平康之君、其權增益、平康無盡、必坐於大衛之位而治其國、秉公行義、使其國保定鞏固、自今直至永世、萬有之主必由熱中而行此、○

斯君將興、恃主之大能、賴其天主耶和華名之威嚴、以牧斯民、使之得安居、彼將為大、至於地極、

今因基督耶穌、爾素為遠者、賴基督之血得近矣、基督使我儕得和、使二者為一、毀中隔之墻垣、彼以其身、廢冤仇之由、即教守儀文之律法、欲於己身使二者成為一新造之人、如是、使之得和、且以其十字架、使二者聯為一體、與天主復和、以冤仇消滅於己身、或作蓋以其十字架消滅冤仇使二者聯為一體與天主復和且來傳和平之福音、傳於爾遠者近者、

將有多國之民往之、彼此語曰、我儕不如登主之山、赴雅各天主之殿、望彼以其道教導我、使我履其途、蓋律法必自郇而出、主之言必從耶路撒冷而發、主必審鞫多國、平治強大之民、直至遠方、使以刀作犁、以戈作鐮、國與國不相攻、不復學習戰事、人各將坐於己之葡萄樹下、及己之無花果樹下、無人震驚、萬有之主之口已言之矣、

萬事皆由天主而有、藉耶穌基督使我儕與己復和、且以勸人與天主復和之職授我、

當是時耶西根所生者、必立為萬民之纛、異邦之族咸歸之、其所在將為有榮、

天主託耶穌基督、即萬有之主、傳和平福音、授道於以色列民、

傾倒國位、翦滅列邦諸國列邦諸國或作異邦人之勢力、傾倒車與駕之者、使馬與乘之者俱顛蹶、使民以鋒刃自相殘殺、

凡爾足所履之地、必歸於爾、自曠野至利巴嫩、自伯拉河至西海、悉為爾境、

其名必永存、其名必長留、如日之久、萬人必因之得福、諸國必稱之有福、

爾曹當向主唱新詩、因主施行奇事、以右手以聖臂而獲大勝、主施行拯救、令人知曉、在萬國人目前、顯彰公義、主向以色列族施恩慈與誠實、以踐前言、四極之人、共見我天主之拯救、

因施行公義、山岡必使民安享平康、邱陵亦必如此、

爾求我、我即將列國賜爾為業、將地之四極賜爾為產、爾必擊之以鐵杖、碎之如陶器、現今列王、爾當覺悟、世間掌權者、須受警教、當以敬畏奉事主、當喜樂又當悚懼、當拜服其子、恐其速然震怒、爾曹即滅亡於道中、凡倚賴之者、俱為有福、

是以我為基督之使、如天主藉我而勸爾、我代基督、求爾與天主復和、

亦使異邦人、因受矜恤而欽崇天主、如經載云、因此、我必在異邦中讚美主、歌頌主名、又曰、異邦人乎、爾當與主之民同樂、又曰、爾異邦人當讚主、萬民當頌主、又以賽亞曰、耶西之根將萌、興而轄異邦人者將至、或作又以賽亞曰將有自耶西根而萌之枝即將興以轄異邦人者異邦人必仰望之、願賜人有望之天主、使爾以信而得喜樂、平安充心、賴聖神之大能、希望益甚、○
