萬軍之耶和華云、是日也、遺民若視為奇異、我亦視為奇異乎、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華又曰、當時之民、以此為難、自我視之、豈為難哉。

萬有之主如是云、斯遺民、如以當時之事為奇、則我亦以為奇矣、則我亦以為奇矣或作我亦以為奇乎此乃萬有之主所言、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time, but will it seem marvelous to me?” declares the Lord Almighty.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: If it is marvelous in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my sight, declares the Lord of hosts?

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people. But is it impossible for me? says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Though it may seem impossible to the remnant of this people in those days, should it also seem impossible to me?”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

The Lord of armies says this:‘ If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?’ declares the Lord of armies.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?’ Says the Lord of hosts.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith Jehovah of hosts.

The Lord of Hosts says this:“ Though it may seem incredible to the remnant of this people in those days, should it also seem incredible to Me?”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.

And,’ says the LORD who rules over all,‘ though such a thing may seem to be difficult in the opinion of the small community of those days, will it also appear difficult to me?’ asks the LORD who rules over all.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.

“ ‘ Lord and King, you have reached out your great and powerful arm. You have made the heavens and the earth. Nothing is too hard for you.

“ I am the Lord. I am the God of all people. Is anything too hard for me?”

The Lord has done it. It is wonderful in our eyes.

Because you are human, you find this hard to understand. So I am using an everyday example to help you understand. You used to give yourselves to be slaves to unclean living. You were becoming more and more evil. Now give yourselves to be slaves to right living. Then you will become holy.Once you were slaves of sin. At that time right living did not control you.What benefit did you gain from doing the things you are now ashamed of? Those things lead to death!

Our enemies took us away from Zion. But when the Lord brought us home, it seemed like a dream to us.Our mouths were filled with laughter. Our tongues sang with joy. Then the people of other nations said,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord has done great things for us. And we are filled with joy.

Jesus replied,“ Things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

Would they have enough if flocks and herds were killed for them? Would they have enough even if all the fish in the ocean were caught for them?”The Lord answered Moses,“ Am I not strong enough? Now you will see whether what I say will come true for you.”

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.He was absolutely sure that God had the power to do what he had promised.
