Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又高声对我说：“看啊，那些到北方去的已在那里使我的心得到安慰。”

他又呼唤我，对我说：“你看，那些出来往北方之地去的，已经在北方之地使我心灵的忿怒平息下来。”

他又呼叫我說：「看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。」

他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

使者呼而謂我曰、往北方者、已安我心於北方矣、○

天使招我曰、往北方者、已雪我忿、

彼召我曰、爾視往北方者、已雪我忿已雪我忿或作已安我心在北方、○

Then he called to me,“ Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”

Then the Lord called out to me,“ Look! The horses going toward the north have given my Spirit rest in the north country.”

Then he cried to me,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have set my Spirit at rest in the north country.”

Then the Lord summoned me and said,“ Look, those who went north have vented the anger of my Spirit there in the land of the north.”

Then he summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified my Spirit in the northern land.”

Then He called out to me and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country.”

Then He summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified My Spirit in the northern land.”

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then he cried out to me,“ Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me peace about the northland.”

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I shall be comforted: and they shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath upon them.

And I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

All ye inhabitants of the world, and ye dwellers on the earth, when an ensign is lifted up on the mountains, see ye; and when the trumpet is blown, hear ye.For thus hath Jehovah said unto me, I will be still, and I will behold in my dwelling- place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

So will I cause my wrath toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame, when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.

God hath delivered into your hand the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison with you? Then their anger was abated toward him, when he had said that.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the land.

Therefore saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies;

Assemble yourselves, all ye, and hear; who among them hath declared these things? He whom Jehovah loveth shall perform his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.

In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed thee and thou wast not cleansed, thou shalt not be cleansed from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my wrath toward thee to rest.

And a strong angel took up a stone as it were a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with a mighty fall shall Babylon, the great city, be cast down, and shall be found no more at all.And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute- players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found any more at all in thee; and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in thee;

And Samson said unto them, If ye do after this manner, surely I will be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.

If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for gentleness allayeth great offences.

Thus saith thy Lord Jehovah, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; thou shalt no more drink it again:and I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee, that have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over.

Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man; he will stir up his zeal like a man of war: he will cry, yea, he will shout aloud; he will do mightily against his enemies.I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry out like a travailing woman; I will gasp and pant together.I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.
