耶和華必在日間用煙雲遮蔽整個錫安山和那裡的會眾，在夜間用火光照亮他們。祂的榮耀必遮蓋一切，

可是，耶和華啊！你是四面保護我的盾牌，你賜我榮耀，使我昂首而立。

萬軍之耶和華說，我要震動萬國，萬國的珍寶都要送到這殿，我要使這殿充滿榮耀。萬軍之耶和華說，金子是我的，銀子也是我的。萬軍之耶和華說，我要使這殿比從前更加榮耀。萬軍之耶和華說，我要在這地方賜下平安。』」

聖城裡不需要太陽和月亮的光照耀，因為有上帝的榮光照耀，羔羊就是聖城的燈。

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的上帝是我們的堡壘。（細拉）來看耶和華的作為吧！祂使大地荒涼。祂平息天下的戰爭，祂斷弓、折槍、燒毀盾牌。祂說：「要安靜，要知道我是上帝，我必在列國受尊崇，在普世受尊崇。」萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的上帝是我們的堡壘。

再也沒有咒詛，因為城裡有上帝和羔羊的寶座，祂的奴僕都要事奉祂。他們必見上帝的面，上帝的名字必印在他們的額上。再沒有黑夜，也不需要燈光和陽光，因為主上帝必作他們的光。他們要執掌王權直到永永遠遠。

上帝在城內的宮中，祂親自做這城的庇護。

這救恩是啟示外族人的光，也是你以色列子民的榮耀。」

我被聖靈感動，天使帶著我到一座高大的山上，將從天上的上帝那裡降下的聖城新耶路撒冷指給我看。城中充滿上帝的榮光，璀璨如貴重的寶石，晶瑩如碧玉。
