I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem to determine its width and length.”

我问：“你到哪里去？”他对我说：“要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多宽多长。”

于是我问：“你要去哪里？”他回答说：“去丈量耶路撒冷，看看有多宽多长。”

我问他：“你到哪里去？”他对我说：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多宽，有多长。”

我說：「你往哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

我問：「你到哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

我問：「你到哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

於是我問：「你要去哪裡？」他回答說：「去丈量耶路撒冷，看看有多寬多長。」

我問他：“你到哪裡去？”他對我說：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多寬，有多長。”

我說：『你往哪裏去？』他對我說：『要去量量耶路撒冷，看有多寬，有多長。』

我問：「你要去哪裡呢？」他回答我：「我要去測量耶路撒冷，看看它有多寬，有多長。」

我曰、爾將何之、曰、往度耶路撒冷、而視其長廣、

我曰、爾將何之、曰、欲量度耶路撒冷、知其長廣。

我曰、爾何往、對我曰、欲量度耶路撒冷、視廣幾何、長幾何、

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.”

“ Where are you going?” I asked.“ To measure Jerusalem,” he answered.“ I want to find out how wide and how long it is.”

Then I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

“ Where are you going?” I asked. He replied,“ I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

So I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.”

So I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem to determine its width and length.”

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what[ is] the breadth thereof, and what[ is] the length thereof.

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He replied,“ To measure Jerusalem in order to determine its width and its length.”

Then I asked,“ Where are you going?” He said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

“ As the property of the city, set aside an area 1⅔ miles wide and 8⅓ miles long, adjacent to the holy donation of land. It will be for the whole house of Israel.

A measuring line will once again stretch out straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn toward Goah.

The one who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.The city is laid out in a square; its length and width are the same. He measured the city with the rod at 12,000 stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.Then he measured its wall, 144 cubits according to human measurement, which the angel used.

But now I am going away to him who sent me, and not one of you asks me,‘ Where are you going?’

“ These are the exits of the city: On the north side, which measures 1½ miles,there will be three gates facing north, the gates of the city being named for the tribes of Israel: one, the gate of Reuben; one, the gate of Judah; and one, the gate of Levi.On the east side, which is 1½ miles, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Joseph; one, the gate of Benjamin; and one, the gate of Dan.On the south side, which measures 1½ miles, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Simeon; one, the gate of Issachar; and one, the gate of Zebulun.On the west side, which is 1½ miles, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Gad; one, the gate of Asher; and one, the gate of Naphtali.The perimeter of the city will be six miles, and the name of the city from that day on will be The LORD Is There.”

So I asked the angel who was speaking with me,“ Where are they taking the basket?”

He brought me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand. He was standing by the city gate.

Then I was given a measuring reed like a rod, with these words:“ Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count those who worship there.

“ The remaining area, 1⅔ miles wide and 8⅓ miles long, will be for common use by the city, for both residential and open space. The city will be in the middle of it.These are the city’s measurements: 1½ miles on the north side; 1½ miles on the south side; 1½ miles on the east side; and 1½ miles on the west side.The city’s open space will extend: 425 feet to the north, 425 feet to the south, 425 feet to the east, and 425 feet to the west.
