以賽亞指以色列人呼云、以色列眾子、雖如海沙、而得救者惟餘數耳、主之言必以義而定、必應而速行、蓋所定之言、主必速行之於斯地、又如以賽亞前所云、若萬有之主、不遺種於我儕、則必如所多瑪俄摩拉矣、○

當時孕婦及乳婦有禍矣、宜祈禱、免爾逃避、值冬時及安息日、蓋其時必有大難、自創世以至於今、未有如此者、後亦必無有焉、若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

爾見先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立不當立之地、讀者當思之、時、在猶太者、當逃於山、

日將至、爾敵必築壘攻爾、四圍困爾、盡毀爾、滅爾赤子於爾內、不留一石於石上、因爾不知眷顧爾之日、○

如爾謹守主爾天主之誡命、遵行其道、則主必循其所誓於爾、立爾為其聖民、天下萬民、將知爾得稱為主之選民、或作見爾歸在主之名下則畏懼爾、主將加爾以福、爾身之所生、畜之所出、土之所產、俱使蕃衍豐裕、在主爾天主所誓於爾祖欲賜爾之地、主必為爾啟其寶藏、使天隨時降雨於爾土、於凡爾所作者賜福於爾、諸邦之人、必稱貸於爾、而爾無庸稱貸、主必使爾為首、不使爾為尾、使爾獨居上、不居下、如爾聽從主爾天主之誡命、即我今日所諭爾者、謹守遵行、不違我今日所諭爾之諸言、不偏於左、不偏於右、不從異邦之神而崇事之、則必蒙此諸福、○

爾觀先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立於聖地、讀者當悟之、時在猶太者、當逃於山、

亦必合集萬邦、導之下約沙法谷、我在彼將鞫之、因其惡待我以色列民、逐之散於諸國、且分取我地、

君聞之、則怒、遣兵滅此兇人、而焚其邑、

此事悉錄於我前、我將不復靜默、我將施報、必報其身、主曰、爾之罪愆、與爾列祖之罪愆、皆因在山焚香、在岡褻瀆我、我必先度其所行而施報、主如是云、葡萄果有汁、人皆曰、勿壞之、蓋美在其中、我緣我僕之故、不盡殲滅亦若是、我將自雅各中攜數苗裔出、自猶大中攜數人出、可得我聖山為業、我之選民必得其地為業、我之僕必居之焉、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、王見足與足指、半陶人之泥、半鐵、其國必分晰、王見鐵雜於泥、其國亦亦或作尚有鐵之力、足指半鐵半泥、其國亦半強半弱、王見鐵與泥相雜、其國之人、必與天下各類人相雜、彼此不合、猶鐵不與泥合、

主曰、爾妻將為妓於城中、爾之子女、殞亡於刃、爾之田畝、以繩量度分予人、爾必死於不潔之地、以色列人必被擄掠、離其故土、

敵在郇邑辱婦、在猶大各城辱處女、以手懸侯伯、不尊老者之面、或作侯伯懸挂以手老者之面不尊

必樹旗召遠方之族、呼之自地極而來、彼必疾行、迅速而至、

耶路撒冷乎、耶路撒冷乎、爾殺先知、石擊奉遣就爾者、我屢欲集爾赤子、似母鷄集雛於翼下、惟爾不欲、爾室將荒墟矣、

敵人伸手、奪其寶物、昔主命異族不得入主會、今反入其聖所、耶路撒冷民所目睹、

惟在上之耶路撒冷為自主、乃我眾之母也、蓋經載云、爾不孕不生者、當喜樂、爾未劬勞者、當歡聲而呼、蓋被棄之婦、較有夫之婦、生子更多、

主曰、於斯全地、三分之二必滅絕死亡、三分之一猶可生存、我將使三分之一、若投於火中、若投於火中或作如由火中而經鍊之如銀、試之如金、彼籲我名、我必應允、我必曰、彼乃我民、彼必曰、耶和華乃我之天主、

惟時亞古士督該撒下詔、命天下人登籍、

蓋其時必有大難、自天主大初造物以至於今、未有如此者、後亦無有焉、
