The LORD will afflict you with wasting disease, fever, inflammation, burning heat, drought, blight, and mildew; these will pursue you until you perish.

Many nations have now assembled against you; they say,“ Let her be defiled, and let us feast our eyes on Zion.”But they do not know the LORD’s intentions or understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.Rise and thresh, Daughter Zion, for I will make your horns iron and your hooves bronze so you can crush many peoples. At once an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died.

They will tremble in the presence of the LORD our God; they will stand in awe of you.

then I will do this to you: I will bring terror on you— wasting disease and fever that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will sow your seed in vain because your enemies will eat it.

Then the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, among many peoples, like a lion among animals of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which tramples and tears as it passes through, and there is no one to rescue them.Your hand will be lifted up against your adversaries, and all your enemies will be destroyed.
