People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

People will live in it. Jerusalem will never be destroyed again. It will be secure.

And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security.

And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.

People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will live in security.

The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more curse; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.

and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.

“ Look, the days are coming”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch for David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is the name he will be called: The LORD Is Our Righteousness.

He said to him,“ Run and tell this young man: Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the number of people and animals in it.”

I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their faithful and righteous God.”

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be a permanent covenant with them. I will establish and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forever.

But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

In those days and at that time I will cause a Righteous Branch to sprout up for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely, and this is what she will be named: The LORD Is Our Righteousness.

I will save my flock. They will no longer be prey, and I will judge between one sheep and another.I will establish over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David will be a prince among them. I, the LORD, have spoken.“‘ I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate dangerous creatures from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.I will make them and the area around my hill a blessing: I will send down showers in their season; they will be showers of blessing.The trees of the field will yield their fruit, and the land will yield its produce; my flock will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the power of those who enslave them.They will no longer be prey for the nations, and the wild creatures of the earth will not consume them. They will live securely, and no one will frighten them.I will establish for them a place renowned for its agriculture, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land. They will no longer endure the insults of the nations.

“ For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will remain before me”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ so your offspring and your name will remain.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city. Salvation is established as walls and ramparts.

I will plant them on their land, and they will never again be uprooted from the land I have given them. The LORD your God has spoken.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.

Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, and foreigners will never overrun it again.

Violence will never again be heard of in your land; devastation and destruction will be gone from your borders. You will call your walls Salvation and your city gates Praise.

The whole valley— the corpses, the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Kidron Valley to the corner of the Horse Gate to the east— will be holy to the LORD. It will never be uprooted or demolished again.”

The LORD listened to Israel’s request and handed the Canaanites over to them, and Israel completely destroyed them and their cities. So they named the place Hormah.
