There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered!

He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called“ The Word of God.”The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double- edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the sky,“ Come! Be gathered together to the great supper of God,

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear. So I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
