昔我判海為二、使民過之、後必使溝渠盡涸、翦亞述之驕心、毀埃及之鈞衡、

They will pass through the sea of trouble; the surging sea will be subdued and all the depths of the Nile will dry up. Assyria’s pride will be brought down and Egypt’s scepter will pass away.

They will pass through a sea of trouble. The stormy sea will calm down. All the deep places in the Nile River will dry up. Assyria’s pride will be brought down. Egypt’s right to rule will disappear.

主必將涸伊及海汊、海汊或作海股舉手使狂風大作、震盪大河、分為七川、使人可着履而過、主之遺民、即自亞述而歸之遺民、將有路可行、與昔以色列人出伊及時有路無異、

使山嶺荒蕪、使其上之百卉枯槁、使河變為島、使湖池盡涸、必導瞽者於素不識之道、使行不識之徑、使暗在其前為光、使曲為直、我必行斯事、必不遐棄斯民、

斯時必平康、亞述人如入我地、履我殿、則我立七牧者八人君以攻之、必以鋒刃攻亞述地、以戈矛伐寧綠國、亞述人如入我地、履我境、彼必救我脫於其難、

必返伊及民之俘囚、或作必使伊及復振興使歸巴忒羅地、即其故土、在彼為卑弱之國、列邦中為至卑弱之國、不得復自高於列國、不得復自高於列國或作不得復向列國驕傲我使其民稀少、不得復轄制列國、以色列族必不復賴之、不復從之、若復從之、則有罪愆被記、其時彼則知我乃主天主、○

於是摩西伸手於海上、主使東風大吹、飄揚終夜、使海水退、海中如陸地而水分析、以色列人行於海中、如行陸地、水壁立其左右、

以以利亞身所墜之外衣擊水、曰、求主以利亞之天主垂顧我、原文作主以利亞之天主安在以利沙擊水、水又分左右、以利沙過焉、

時、正收穫之日、約但水漲溢岸外、舁匱之祭司、至約但、足方入水、則自上而下之水、壁立若堆、離撒拉坦旁之亞當邑甚遠、其向亞拉巴亞拉巴或作平原海即鹽海、所流之水悉流絕、民遂由耶利哥相對之處過河、舁主約匱之祭司、在約但河中立於乾地、待以色列眾民過約但、皆由乾地而過、
