But did My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, not overtake your fathers? Then they repented and said,‘ Just as the Lord of armies planned to do to us in accordance with our ways and our deeds, so He has dealt with us.’ ” ’ ”

只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗？他们就回头说：‘万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。’”

然而我的言语和律例，就是我所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们的祖先吗？他们就回转，说：万军之耶和华定意按我们的所作所为对待我们，他也已经照样行了。”

然而，我吩咐我仆人——众先知的训言和律例岂不应验在你们祖先的头上了吗？后来他们悔改了，说，万军之耶和华按着我们的所作所为报应了我们，正如祂所言。’”

然而我吩咐我的仆人众先知的话与条例，不是已报应在你们的列祖身上吗？所以他们就回转，说：万军之耶和华定意按着我们所作所行的对付我们，他已经这样行了。’”

然而我吩咐我僕人眾先知的話語和律例，不都追上了你們的祖先嗎？於是他們回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華照著我們的道路和行為決意怎樣對待我們，他就怎樣對待了我們。』」

惟我所命我僕諸先知之言詞典章、豈非及於爾列祖乎、彼則悛改曰、萬軍之耶和華欲依我所行所為、而施行於我、已若是待我矣、○

昔我使我僕先知傅命、言必降災、斯災已及爾祖、彼遂悛悔、自謂萬有之主耶和華所立之旨、欲降以災、罰我所為、今及我躬矣、

但我言我命、我所諭我僕眾先知者、豈不悉臨及爾祖乎、彼遂悛悔、自謂自謂或作曰萬有之主已擬定、擬定或作立志循我道途道途或作動作行為、施報我身、已若是行於我矣、○

But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your ancestors?“ Then they repented and said,‘ The Lord Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.’”

I commanded my servants the prophets what to say. I told them what I planned to do. But your people refused to obey me. So I had to punish them.“ Then they had a change of heart. They said,‘ The Lord who rules over all has punished us because of how we have lived. He was fair and right to do that. He has done to us just what he decided to do.’ ”

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? So they repented and said,‘ As the Lord of hosts purposed to deal with us for our ways and deeds, so has he dealt with us.’”

But everything I said through my servants the prophets happened to your ancestors, just as I said. As a result, they repented and said,‘ We have received what we deserved from the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. He has done what he said he would do.’”

But didn’t my words and my statutes that I commanded my servants the prophets overtake your ancestors?’” So the people repented and said,“ As the LORD of Armies decided to deal with us for our ways and our deeds, so he has dealt with us.”

Yet surely My words and My statutes, Which I commanded My servants the prophets, Did they not overtake your fathers?“ So they returned and said:‘ Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us, According to our ways and according to our deeds, So He has dealt with us.’”’”

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? and they turned and said, Like as Jehovah of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

But didn’t My words and My statutes that I commanded My servants the prophets overtake your ancestors? They repented and said: As the Lord of Hosts purposed to deal with us for our ways and deeds, so He has dealt with us.”

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

But have my words and statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, not outlived your fathers? Then they paid attention and confessed,‘ The LORD who rules over all has indeed done what he said he would do to us, because of our sinful ways.’”

But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake your fathers?“ Then they repented and said,‘ Just as Yahweh of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways, and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.’”

The Lord has done what He determined; He has accomplished His word Which He commanded from days of old. He has torn down without sparing, And He has helped the enemy to rejoice over you; He has exalted the might of your adversaries.

“ But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

For I the Lord will speak whatever word I speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, you rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it,” declares the Lord God.’ ”Furthermore, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,“ Son of man, behold, the house of Israel is saying,‘ The vision that he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed,” ’ ” declares the Lord God.

God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

All the sinners of My people will die by the sword, Those who say,‘ The catastrophe will not overtake or confront us.’

Indeed, all Israel has violated Your Law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has gushed forth on us, along with the oath which is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.So He has confirmed His words which He had spoken against us and against our rulers who ruled us, to bring on us great disaster; for under the entire heaven there has not been done anything like what was done in Jerusalem.

Those who escape the sword will return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah few in number. Then all the remnant of Judah who have gone to the land of Egypt to reside there will know whose word will stand, Mine or theirs.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

The anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; In the last days you will clearly understand it.

“ So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness, so that the day would overtake you like a thief;

But if you do not do so, behold, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure that your sin will find you out.

The Lord has expended His wrath, He has poured out His fierce anger; And He has kindled a fire in Zion, And it has consumed its foundations.The kings of the earth did not believe, Nor did any of the inhabitants of the world, That the adversary and the enemy Would enter the gates of Jerusalem.

Please turn away, let there be no injustice; Turn away, my righteousness is still in it.

So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.

So He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or frail; He handed them all over to him.He brought all the articles of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and his officers, to Babylon.Then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.He took into exile those who had escaped from the sword to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia,to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept the Sabbath until seventy years were complete.

if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I planned to bring on it.Or at another moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to build up or to plant it;if it does evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will relent of the good with which I said that I would bless it.So now, speak to the men of Judah and against the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am forming a disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Now turn back, each of you from his evil way, and correct your ways and your deeds!” ’

And just as I plan to do to them, I will do to you.’ ”

Then, if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name,‘ As the Lord lives,’ just as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people.But if they do not listen, then I will drive out that nation, drive it out and destroy it,” declares the Lord.

And there you will remember your ways and all your deeds by which you have defiled yourselves; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for all the evil things that you have done.

All their evil is at Gilgal; Indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will no longer love them; All their leaders are rebels.

“ You there! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.

Therefore, behold, I will obstruct her way with thorns, And I will build a stone wall against her so that she cannot find her paths.And she will pursue her lovers, but she will not reach them; And she will seek them, but will not find them. Then she will say,‘ I will go back to my first husband, Because it was better for me then than now!’“ Yet she does not know that it was I myself who gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, And lavished on her silver and gold, Which they used for Baal.Therefore, I will take back My grain at harvest time And My new wine in its season. I will also take away My wool and My flax That I gave to cover her nakedness.So now I will uncover her lewdness Before the eyes of her lovers, And no one will rescue her from My hand.I will also put an end to all her joy, Her feasts, her new moons, her Sabbaths, And all her festivals.

Circumcise yourselves to the Lord And remove the foreskins of your hearts, Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Or else My wrath will spread like fire And burn with no one to quench it, Because of the evil of your deeds.”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel; behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’

“ The Lord will send against you curses, panic, and rebuke, in everything you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have abandoned Me.

Confirming the word of His servant And carrying out the purpose of His messengers. It is I who says of Jerusalem,‘ She shall be inhabited!’ And of the cities of Judah,‘ They shall be built.’ And I will raise her ruins again.

For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their actions are against the Lord, To rebel against His glorious presence.The expression of their faces testifies against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have done evil to themselves.Say to the righteous that it will go well for them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.Woe to the wicked! It will go badly for him, For what he deserves will be done to him.

“ The Lord is righteous, For I have rebelled against His command; Hear now, all peoples, And see my pain; My virgins and my young men Have gone into captivity.

Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city and its inhabitants; for truly the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words so that you hear them.”
