禁嫁娶、戒食物、即上帝所造、使信而洞悉真理之人、感謝而受者也、蓋上帝所造皆美、若感謝而受、則無可棄、

凡物皆宜於我、然不盡有益、凡物皆宜於我、然不受其制、食為腹、腹為食、而上帝將悉敗之、惟身非為淫、乃為主、主為身、

主謂之曰、今爾法利賽人、惟杯盤之外是潔、然爾內則充以刧奪、惡慝、無知者乎、造其外者、不亦造其內耶、惟以在內者施濟、則於爾無不潔矣、○

惟出諸口者由心而發、斯污人也、

如是、爾或食或飲、凡所為者、皆以榮上帝而為之、

又有聲曰、上帝所潔者、勿以為俗也、

然人不皆有此知識、至今有習於偶像者、而食若為祭物然、其良心尚弱、故見浼焉、

凡售於市者食之、毋為良心而詢也、

哈該曰、設有人以捫尸而蒙不潔、觸此諸物、則是物成為不潔乎、祭司僉曰、必為不潔、

況基督由永生之神、獻己於上帝、無有瑕疵、其血不尤能潔爾良去死行以事維生之上帝乎、

則宜以誠心篤信而進、心被灑以除是非之謬誤、身亦為清水所滌、

及壞心志喪真理者之紛爭、彼以敬虔為利途也、

其告斯土之民、及諸祭司曰、爾於五月七月、禁食哭泣、歷七十年、豈為我禁食乎、爾式飲式食、豈非為己而食、為己而飲乎、

目高心傲、惡人昌熾、俱為罪戾、

凡食主餅、飲主杯、而不合宜者、即干主身與血也、人當自省、然後食斯餅、飲斯杯、不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、
