我是基督耶穌的奴僕保羅，蒙召作使徒，奉命傳上帝的福音。

如果有人傳的教義不符合我們主耶穌基督純正的道和敬虔的教導，

因為我們認識了用自己的榮耀和美德呼召我們的上帝，上帝以祂神聖的能力將生命與敬虔所需要的一切賜給了我們。

不要參與愚昧無知的辯論，因為這些事只會引起紛爭。

因為上帝拯救世人的恩典已經顯明了，這恩典教導我們除掉不敬虔的心和世俗的私慾，在今世過自律、公義、敬畏上帝的生活，

一切都要這樣被焚毀，你們在熱切等候上帝來臨的日子期間，該怎樣過聖潔、敬虔的生活啊！因為到那日，天要被火焚毀，有形有質的都要被烈火熔化燒盡。

要溫柔地規勸那些反對我們的人，也許上帝會賜給他們悔改的心，使他們明白真理，

也不要沉迷於虛構的神話和冗長的家譜，因為這些事只會引起無用的猜測和辯論，無法幫助人憑信心認識上帝的救贖計劃。制止這些人的目的是為了愛，這愛來自於清潔的心、無虧的良心和真實無偽的信心。

主所愛的弟兄姊妹，我們應該時常為你們感謝上帝，因為上帝一開始就揀選了你們，為了使你們藉著聖靈得以聖潔，並且相信真理，從而得救。上帝藉著我們所傳的福音呼召了你們，使你們可以得到我們主耶穌基督的榮耀。

毫無疑問，我們偉大的信仰奧妙無比：祂以肉身顯現，被聖靈證明為義，被天使看見，被傳揚到列邦，被世人信奉，被接到天上的榮耀中。

因為祂願全人類都得救，明白真理。

為要使你們眾人心受鼓勵，聯結在愛裡，有豐富篤定的真知灼見，可以認識上帝的奧祕。這奧祕就是基督，

外族人聽後，非常歡喜，頌讚主的道。凡被選定得永生的人都信了主。

我保羅和提摩太是基督耶穌的奴僕，寫信給腓立比屬於基督耶穌的眾聖徒、諸位監督和執事。

亞倫和他的後代在祭壇和香壇上獻祭燒香，負責至聖所裡的各種工作，為以色列人贖罪，正如上帝的僕人摩西的吩咐。
