Blow on my garden so that its fragrant spices may send out their sweet smell. Let us rise early to go to the vineyards, to see if the vines have budded, to see if their blossoms have opened, if the pomegranates are in bloom– there I will give you my love.

May your mouth be like the best wine, flowing smoothly for my beloved, gliding gently over our lips as we sleep together.

She has prepared her meat, she has mixed her wine; she also has arranged her table.

and how from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

These Jews were more open- minded than those in Thessalonica, for they eagerly received the message, examining the scriptures carefully every day to see if these things were so.Therefore many of them believed, along with quite a few prominent Greek women and men.

Moreover, we possess the prophetic word as an altogether reliable thing. You do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a murky place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
