絕色佳人啊！要是你不知道，就跟著羊群的足跡，到牧人的帳篷邊餵養你的山羊羔吧。

絕色的佳人啊，你的良人去了何處？你的良人轉往何方？我們好幫你尋找他。

但我完美無瑕的小鴿子獨一無二，她是她母親的獨女和最愛。眾女子看見她都誇她有福，王后和妃嬪見了也連連稱讚她，說：「這位燦爛似晨光，皎潔如明月，耀眼如太陽，亮麗如佈滿天際之星辰的是誰呢？」

公主身穿金線衣，無比華貴。

到了凱撒利亞·腓立比境內，耶穌問門徒：「人們說人子是誰？」門徒回答說：「有人說是施洗者約翰，有人說是以利亞，也有人說是耶利米，或其他某位先知。」耶穌問：「那麼，你們說我是誰？」西門·彼得回答說：「你是基督，是永活上帝的兒子！」耶穌對他說：「約拿的兒子西門啊，你是有福的！因為這件事不是屬血肉的人告訴你的，而是我天上的父啟示你的。

祂像嫩芽一樣在耶和華面前長大，像生長在旱地裡的根。祂沒有軒昂俊美的外表可以吸引我們，沒有令我們羡慕的容貌。

上帝的城啊，人們傳揚你的榮耀。（細拉）

然而，即使我們所傳的福音被遮蔽，也是在那些滅亡的人當中被遮蔽。那些不信的人是被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不見基督榮耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。我們並非傳揚自己，而是傳揚耶穌基督是主，並且為耶穌的緣故而作你們的奴僕。因為那吩咐光從黑暗中照射出來的上帝光照了我們的心，為要讓我們認識上帝在耶穌基督的面容上所彰顯的榮耀。

耶穌進耶路撒冷時，全城轟動，說：「這是誰？」

道成為肉身，住在我們中間，充滿了恩典和真理。我們見過祂的榮耀，正是父獨一兒子的榮耀。
