I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.

有一个人，是从神那里差来的，名叫约翰。

“你们当在耶路撒冷的街上跑来跑去，在宽阔处寻找，看看有一人行公义求诚实没有？若有，我就赦免这城。

再者，你们晓得，现今就是该趁早睡醒的时候；因为我们得救，现今比初信的时候更近了。

听从我、日日在我门口仰望、在我门框旁边等候的，那人便为有福。

你们要醒悟为善，不要犯罪，因为有人不认识神。我说这话是要叫你们羞愧。

因为你是赐我力量的神，为何丢弃我呢？我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢？求你发出你的亮光和真实，好引导我，带我到你的圣山，到你的居所！我就走到神的祭坛，到我最喜乐的神那里。神啊，我的神，我要弹琴称赞你！我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望神，因我还要称赞他。他是我脸上的光荣，是我的神。

她在道旁高处的顶上，在十字路口站立，在城门旁，在城门口，在城门洞，大声说：

难道主要永远丢弃我，不再施恩吗？难道他的慈爱永远穷尽，他的应许世世废弃吗？难道神忘记开恩，因发怒就止住他的慈悲吗？细拉我便说：“这是我的懦弱，但我要追念至高者显出右手之年代。”

所以主说：“你这睡着的人当醒过来，从死里复活！基督就要光照你了。”

并且无人求告你的名；无人奋力抓住你。原来你掩面不顾我们，使我们因罪孽消化。

我起来，要给我良人开门。我的两手滴下没药；我的指头有没药汁滴在门闩上。

那仆人回来，把这事都告诉了主人。家主就动怒，对仆人说：‘快出去，到城里大街小巷，领那贫穷的、残废的、瞎眼的、瘸腿的来。’仆人说：‘主啊，你所吩咐的已经办了，还有空座。’主人对仆人说：‘你出去到路上和篱笆那里，勉强人进来，坐满我的屋子。

我的神，我的神！为什么离弃我？为什么远离不救我？不听我唉哼的言语？我的神啊，我白日呼求，你不应允，夜间呼求，并不住声。

智慧在街市上呼喊，在宽阔处发声，在热闹街头喊叫，在城门口，在城中发出言语，

你的瀑布发声，深渊就与深渊响应；你的波浪洪涛漫过我身。白昼，耶和华必向我施慈爱；黑夜，我要歌颂祷告赐我生命的神。我要对神我的磐石说：“你为何忘记我呢？我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢？”

来到门徒那里，见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“怎么样？你们不能同我警醒片时吗？总要警醒祷告，免得入了迷惑。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。”
