我即興、遊於邑衢、遍行大道、求我夫子、求之不得、

我即興、游於邑中、徧行街衢大道、尋我心之所愛、尋而不得、

I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.

有一个人名叫约翰，是上帝差来的。

耶和华说：“你们在耶路撒冷街头四处看看，在广场找找，如果你们能找到一个公正诚实的人，我就赦免这城。

还有，要知道现今是你们该醒过来的时候了！因为与初信的时候相比，我们得救的日子更近了。

人若听从我、天天在我门口仰望、时时在我门边等候，就有福了。

你们该醒悟了！不要继续犯罪，因为你们当中有些人不认识上帝。我说这话是要叫你们羞愧。

你是保护我的上帝，你为何丢弃我？为何让我受仇敌的攻击，使我哀伤不已呢？求你以光明和真理引导我，领我到你的圣山，到你的居所。我要到上帝的祭坛前，到赐我喜乐的上帝面前。上帝啊，我的上帝，我要弹琴赞美你。我的心啊！你为何沮丧？为何烦躁？要仰望上帝，因为我还要赞美祂——我的救主，我的上帝。

她在路边高处站立，她在十字街头停留，在城门旁，在入口处大喊：

“难道主要永远丢弃我，不再恩待我了吗？难道祂的慈爱永远消逝了吗？祂的应许永远落空了吗？难道上帝已忘记施恩，在愤怒中收回了祂的慈爱吗？”（细拉）于是我说：“我感到悲伤的是，至高者已不再彰显大能。”

因为光能使一切显明出来。因此有人说：“沉睡的人啊，醒来吧！从死人中起来吧，基督要光照你了！”

无人呼求你，无人向你求助，因为你掩面不理我们，让我们在自己的罪中灭亡。

就起来为他开门；我的双手滴下没药，甚至门闩也沾了我指头滴下的没药。

奴仆回来将这些话告诉主人，主人非常生气，于是对奴仆说，‘快出去到城里的大街小巷把贫穷的、残疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的都请来。’奴仆说，‘主人啊，我照你的吩咐办了，可是还有空位。’主人又说，‘出去到大路上、篱笆旁硬把人拉来，让我家里座无虚席。

我的上帝，我的上帝，你为何离弃我？为何迟迟不来救我，不听我的哀号呢？我的上帝啊，我日夜不停地呼求，你却没有回应。

智慧在大街上高喊，在广场上扬声，在热闹的市集宣告，在城门口演说：

你的瀑布发出巨响，回荡在深渊之间，你的洪涛巨浪淹没我。白天耶和华将祂的慈爱浇灌我；夜间我歌颂祂，向赐我生命的上帝祷告。我对上帝——我的磐石说：“你为何忘记我？为何要我受仇敌的攻击，使我哀伤不已呢？”

耶稣回到三个门徒那里，见他们都睡着了，就对彼得说：“难道你们不能跟我一同警醒一时吗？你们要警醒祷告，免得陷入诱惑。你们的心灵虽然愿意，肉体却很软弱。”
