願主由此幼婦賜爾後嗣、使爾家如法勒斯之家、即他瑪從猶大所生者、

Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.”

猶大從她瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉，法勒斯生希斯崙，希斯崙生亞蘭，

猶大的兒子是珥、俄南、示拉、法勒斯、謝拉；珥與俄南死在迦南地。法勒斯的兒子是希斯崙、哈母勒。

猶大的媳婦她瑪為猶大生了法勒斯和謝拉。猶大共有五個兒子。

以利為以利加拿和他妻子祝福，說：「願耶和華由這婦人再賜你後裔，代替從耶和華求來的孩子。」他們就回自己的地方去了。

按着宗族，猶大的眾子：屬示拉的，有示拉族；屬法勒斯的，有法勒斯族；屬謝拉的，有謝拉族。法勒斯的眾子：屬希斯崙的，有希斯崙族；屬哈母勒的，有哈母勒族。這就是猶大的各族；他們被數的共有七萬六千五百名。
