Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat down there just as the guardian- redeemer he had mentioned came along. Boaz said,“ Come over here, my friend, and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.

Boaz went up to the town gate and sat down there. Right then, the family protector he had talked about came by. Then Boaz said,“ Come over here, my friend. Sit down.” So the man went over and sat down.

Now Boaz had gone up to the gate and sat down there. And behold, the redeemer, of whom Boaz had spoken, came by. So Boaz said,“ Turn aside, friend; sit down here.” And he turned aside and sat down.

Boaz went to the town gate and took a seat there. Just then the family redeemer he had mentioned came by, so Boaz called out to him,“ Come over here and sit down, friend. I want to talk to you.” So they sat down together.

Boaz went to the gate of the town and sat down there. Soon the family redeemer Boaz had spoken about came by. Boaz said,“ Come over here and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there, and behold, the redeemer of whom Boaz spoke was passing by, so he said,“ Come over here, friend, sit down here.” And he came over and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there; and behold, the close relative of whom Boaz had spoken came by. So Boaz said,“ Come aside, friend, sit down here.” So he came aside and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the near kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Boaz went to the gate of the town and sat down there. Soon the family redeemer Boaz had spoken about came by. Boaz called him by name and said,“ Come over here and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.

Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the village gate and sat there. Then along came the guardian whom Boaz had mentioned to Ruth! Boaz said,“ Come here and sit down,‘ John Doe’!” So he came and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there. Behold, the near kinsman of whom Boaz spoke came by. Boaz said to him,“ Come over here, friend, and sit down!” He came over, and sat down.

現在，我的確是一個可以贖你產業的至親，可是還有一個人比我更親。

那人若不情願娶他兄弟的妻子，他兄弟的妻子就要上到城門長老那裏，說：『我丈夫的兄弟拒絕在以色列中為他的兄弟留名，不願意為我盡兄弟的本分。』

「你要在耶和華－你上帝所賜的各城中，為各支派設立審判官和官長。他們要按公義的判斷審判百姓，

要恨惡邪惡，喜愛良善，在城門口秉公行義；或者耶和華－萬軍之上帝會施恩給約瑟的餘民。

我若舉手攻擊孤兒，因為在城門口見有幫助我的；

你們怨恨那在城門口斷是非的，憎惡那說正直話的。所以，因你們踐踏貧寒人，向他們勒索糧稅；你們雖建造石鑿的房屋，卻不得住在其內；雖栽植美好的葡萄園，卻不得喝其中所出的酒。我知道你們的罪過何其多，你們的罪惡何其大；你們迫害義人，收受賄賂，在城門口屈枉貧窮人。

我出到城門，在廣場安排座位，

父母就要抓住他，帶他出去到當地的城門，本城的長老那裏，

你就要將行這惡事的男人或女人拉到城門外，用石頭把這男人或女人處死。

耶和華說：「來，來！你們要從北方之地逃回；因我曾把你們分散到天的四方。這是耶和華說的。」

來！你們所有乾渴的，都當來到水邊；沒有銀錢的也可以來。你們都來，買了吃；不用銀錢，不付代價，就可買酒和奶。
