田畝荒蕪、土地愁慘、蓋五穀已毀、新酒已罄、新油已匱、農夫歟、爾其慚怍、治葡萄者歟、爾其號咷、因麰麥小麥皆無、田穡俱敗也、

爾之田畝、播種則多、獲實則少、蝗食故也、

我於諸邑中、使爾齒淨、各地乏食、然爾猶不歸我、耶和華言之矣、

厥後、伯利恆人以比讚為以色列士師、

旅於基列之提斯比人以利亞、告亞哈曰、我指所事維生之耶和華、以色列之上帝而誓、此數年間、非我有言、則雨露不降、耶和華諭以利亞曰、去此東往、匿於約但東之基立溪濱、可飲溪水、我命烏食爾、遂遵耶和華命、往約但東之基立溪濱居焉、烏朝夕以餅與肉給之、所飲者、此溪之水、日久無雨降於其地、溪水盡涸、○耶和華諭以利亞曰、起往西頓之撒勒法、而居於彼、我已命在彼之嫠婦供養爾、遂起、往撒勒法、至邑門、見嫠婦採薪、呼之曰、請爾以器、取水少許以飲我、婦往時、又呼之曰、請爾手持片餅與我、曰、我指爾之上帝、維生之耶和華以誓、我無餅、惟餘一握之麵於罌、少許之油於瓶、今採薪二、歸而為我及子備之、食之而死、

主耶和華曰、我以我之四重災、即鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、疫癘、降於耶路撒冷、絕其人畜、其害豈非尤甚乎、

沃壤為鹵地、皆因居民之罪兮、

爾恃強之驕傲、我必毀之、並使爾天若鐵、爾地若銅、
