For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my countrymen, my kinsmen according to the flesh,

即為兄弟骨肉之親、見絕於基督、亦所願也、

倘吾能救兄弟骨肉之親、即絕基督、亦所願也、

蓋我為我兄弟骨肉之親、即見絕於基督、亦所願也、

倘能救我兄弟骨肉之親、則吾本人雖見絕於基督、亦所願也！

For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race,

I am so concerned about my people, who are members of my own race. I am ready to be cursed, if that would help them. I am even willing to be separated from Christ.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed— cut off from Christ!— if that would save them.

For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the benefit of my brothers and sisters, my own flesh and blood.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh,

For I could wish that I myself were anathema from Christ for my brethren’s sake, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

For I could almost wish to be cursed and cut off from the Messiah for the benefit of my brothers, my own flesh and blood.

For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

For I could wish that I myself were accursed– cut off from Christ– for the sake of my people, my fellow countrymen,

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the flesh

But now, if You will forgive their sin, very well; but if not, please wipe me out from Your book which You have written!”

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

his body is not to be left overnight on the tree, but you shall certainly bury him on the same day( for he who is hanged is cursed of God), so that you do not defile your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says,“ Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say,“ Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha!

if somehow I may move my own people to jealousy and save some of them.

I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? Far from it! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”

“ Brothers, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us— for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—

And Saul said,“ May God do the same to me and more also, for you shall certainly die, Jonathan!”

But when he was approaching the age of forty, it entered his mind to visit his countrymen, the sons of Israel.And when he saw one of them being treated unjustly, he defended and took vengeance for the oppressed man by fatally striking the Egyptian.And he thought that his brothers understood that God was granting them deliverance through him; but they did not understand.And on the following day he appeared to them as they were fighting each other, and he tried to reconcile them to peace, by saying,‘ Men, you are brothers, why are you injuring each other?’

And Laban said to him,“ You certainly are my bone and my flesh.” And he stayed with him a month.

For how can I endure to see the disaster which will happen to my people, and how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?”

But the city shall be designated for destruction, it and everything that is in it belongs to the Lord; only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in the house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.But as for you, only keep yourselves from the things designated for destruction, so that you do not covet them and take some of the designated things, and turn the camp of Israel into something designated for destruction and bring disaster on it.
