因為順着肉體行的、意念着肉體的事；順着靈行的、意念着靈的事。

因为，随从肉体的人体贴肉体的事；随从圣灵的人体贴圣灵的事。

随从罪恶本性的人顾念罪恶本性的事，但随从圣灵的人顾念圣灵的事。

随从肉体的人，以肉体的事为念；随从圣灵的人，以圣灵的事为念。

要知道，顺着肉体的人，思想属肉体的事；顺着圣灵的人，思想属圣灵的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

隨從罪惡本性的人顧念罪惡本性的事，但隨從聖靈的人顧念聖靈的事。

隨從肉體的人，以肉體的事為念；隨從聖靈的人，以聖靈的事為念。

要知道，順著肉體的人，思想屬肉體的事；順著聖靈的人，思想屬聖靈的事。

蓋依形軀者、志乎形軀之事、依神者、志乎神之事、

蓋從欲者、體欲之情、從神者、體神之情、

蓋從肉體者體肉體之事、從聖神者體聖神之事、

蓋從欲者、體欲之情；而從神者、體神之情。

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

So don’t live under the control of sin. If you do, you will think about what sin wants. Live under the control of the Holy Spirit. If you do, you will think about what the Spirit wants.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit.

For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

不過屬血氣的人不接受上帝之靈的事；這些事在他看、簡直是愚拙；他也不能知道，因為這是用屬靈的方法來審察的。

肉體之行為是顯而易見的，就是：淫亂、污穢、邪蕩、拜偶像、行邪術、敵恨、紛爭、妒忌、暴怒、營私爭勝、分立、派別、嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴、以及和這一些相類似的事。這些事我現在給你們說明了，正如我說明過的：行這樣事的人必不能承受上帝的國。至於靈之果子呢、就是愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、柔和、節制：這樣的事、沒有律法能禁止。屬基督耶穌的人是已經把肉體、同各樣的惡情和私慾、都釘上十字架了。我們若順着靈而活，也應當順着靈按規矩行。

這樣、你們既和基督一同活了起來，就該求在上面的事；因為那裏有基督坐在上帝的右邊。你們要意念着上面的事，別意念着地上的事了。因為你們已經死了，你們的生命是與基督一同藏在上帝裏面的。

由肉身生的是肉身，由靈生的是靈。

因為有許多人、就是我屢次告訴你們、如今竟流着眼淚告訴你們的：他們的行事為人、就是基督十字架的仇敵。他們的結局是滅亡；他們所事奉的神就是自己的肚子；他們所誇耀的是在於他們的羞恥；他們是意念着地上之事的人。

耶穌轉過身來，看着門徒，就責備彼得說：『撒但退去！因為你不意念着上帝的事，卻意念着人的事。』

弟兄們，那麼我們便是欠債的了，卻不是欠肉體的債、去順着肉體活的。因為你們若順着肉體而活，就必死；若順着靈治死你們身體上的行為，就必活。凡蒙上帝之靈帶領的、就是上帝的兒子。

肉體的意念是死；靈的意念乃是生命與平安。因為肉體的意念跟上帝為敵，不順服於上帝之律法，也實在不能順服：

尤其是拘留而刑罰那些隨從肉體、行於讓人染污的私慾中、輕看「主尊」的人。嘿，大膽的，任性的，謗讟「眾榮耀」的靈也不戰慄！

但你們呢、不是在肉體裏，乃是在靈裏，如果上帝的靈住在你們裏面、的話。人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬於基督的。

那屬土的怎樣，凡屬土的也怎樣；那屬天的怎麼樣，凡屬天的也怎樣。

我們雖以肉身行事，卻不憑着肉體交戰。
