然而，聖靈的果子是：愛心、喜樂、和平、忍耐、仁慈、良善、忠信、溫柔、自制。這樣的事，沒有律法反對。那些屬於基督耶穌的人，已經把肉體與肉體的渴望和情慾一同釘上十字架了。我們既然藉著聖靈而活，就讓我們靠著聖靈行走。

所以我說：你們應當順著聖靈行走，這樣就絕不會去滿足肉體的欲望了；

基督這麼做，是要藉著話語，用水的洗滌而潔淨教會，使她分別為聖，為要給自己預備一個榮耀的教會，沒有汙漬、皺紋或任何這類的事，卻要她成為聖潔、毫無瑕疵。

但如今，神在基督的血肉之軀上，藉著死使你們與他自己和好了，並且使你們站在他面前，是聖潔、毫無瑕疵、無可指責的。

在他們口中找不出虛假；他們是毫無瑕疵的。

來到了長子們的教會面前——他們的名字已經登記在天上；來到了神面前——他是萬人的審判者；來到了義人的靈魂面前——他們得以完全；

那位獨一的神能夠保守你們不失足，並且使你們毫無瑕疵、懷著喜樂站在他的榮耀面前；

因此，那沒有受割禮的人，如果遵守律法的公義規定，他雖然沒有受割禮，難道不是算是受了割禮嗎？
